On November 24th, our cadets successfully completed their basic shoot, showcasing their exceptional marksmanship skills. Among the notable achievements, cadets Lazarov and Skuroprat impressed with exceptional grouping of 15mm and 10mm, respectively.
We were incredibly impressed by our Year 7 students' performance during their Spanish speaking exams yesterday. Everyone demonstrated the true spirit of a JMA student, and we are immensely proud of their achievements. Special recognition is due to Hisham, Noah, Sapphire, Riley, Levi, Yakoub, Jesse, Robbie, Tyla, Nasiru, Ethan R, TJ, and Zidan for their exceptional levels of delivery. Finally, congratulations to Alexis and Logan for both earning the coveted "Star of the Lesson" award!

On Thursday, November 16th, our cadets participated in a practice air rifle shoot as part of their ongoing training. This marked the first time our basic recruits had the opportunity to shoot from the standing and kneeling positions, which demanded a higher level of control and focus.
Well done to the year 7 football team who won their pool at the 5 a side tournament and then were unlucky to loose 1-0 in the last minute of the quarter final.
They were all amazing throughout.

We were immensely proud of our JMA CCF cadets for their respectful and dignified participation in Reading's Remembrance Day service held at St Mary's Butts church followed by a march to the war memorial in Forbury Gardens. Our cadets were impeccably turned out and demonstrated exceptional conduct throughout the proceedings, leaving all present deeply impressed.
Following their air rifle tests, JMA cadets showcased their exceptional marksmanship skills with some impressive results! Their dedication to training and unwavering focus on safety are truly commendable. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to their continued success at the upcoming air rifle competition shoot in January.
Congratulations to CDT Felt, CDT Kurz, CDT Harriram, L/Cpl Manning, and L/Cpl Randall for successfully passing their reaccreditation for their air rifle weapons handling. Their dedication to safety and marksmanship is exemplary.
Congratulations to JMA senior CCF cadets for their outstanding performance at the recent ACF 3 and 4 Star Shoot. There was some excellent shooting from all, with notable performances from cadet Arjun Harriram, who passed the 3 Star Shoot and was the third-highest scorer out of 60 rounds with 54 hits. Cpl Hayden Randall passed the 4 Star Shoot and achieved Marksman Standard, hitting 24 out of 25, then 28 out of 30 in all positions at 100, 200, and 300 yards. JMA is incredibly proud of the cadets' achievements and looks forward to seeing them continue to excel in future competitions.
Our basic cohort has been diligently practicing their drill movements in preparation for the upcoming drill and turnout test and passing out parade. As this cohort approaches their pass date, we are now looking to recruit our next cohort for a January start. JMA Contingent Commander Captain Suzy Berte has successfully completed her (K) Qual course, which focuses on the safety and practical aspects of running a range. This qualification ensures that our staff remains up-to-date and that every activity we conduct within the CCF is run by competent and safety-conscious members of staff. The safety of our cadets is paramount, especially when training with weapons systems.
We are thrilled to celebrate our JMA Senior cadets' exceptional marksmanship at the CADSAM shooting competition. Despite limited resources, they secured bronze in Attack & Reorg and third place in Advance to contact. Congratulations to Cdt Cvetanovski, Cdt Radu, Cpl Randall, L/Sgt Yon, and Lt Budd for their unwavering dedication. We look forward to their continued success.
