Ensuring safety around our school and our children is crucial to us, especially during pick-up and drop-off times.
That is why the PTFA have purchased some new "No Parking Cones" for outside our school, which you would have seen this week. These were purchased as 3 out of the 4 of the old "No Parking Signs" were run over and we could no longer use them.
This afternoon, two of the new cones have already been run over. Luckily it was not a child and we ask you to remember that responsible parking contributes significantly to the safety of our school and in helping us to keep our children safe.
Well done team Springfield for super running today at the Green Park challenge. There were a few more we missed in the as they were right at the front. You did yourselves proud. Please wear your medals to school with pride tomorrow.
Howās everyone doing with their book bingo? So far, Iāve managed a book Iāve never heard of, a book with poems, a book with a green cover and a book based on a true story. Donāt forget that Tilehurst library is on our doorstep and a great place to borrow books for free! (Mrs Gough)
Parents please be warned that there are many work vans outside school and the corner of Barton Road is being dug up.
Excellent in the warm up activities and undefeated in the games. A brilliant group of Year 5 & 6 cricketers. Well done to everyone for your exemplary behaviour and sportsmanship at the cricket festival this morning.
