Site update – despite the wet weather conditions over the last few weeks, we have had some exceptional progress on our little Tring project at Astrope.

We now have the driveway areas formed, block paving is soon to start and then we will commence gravel to the main entrance.
Internally, the works are really starting to take shape in the final 3 plots - one of the bathrooms here shows the high-end finishes we can achieve.

Soft landscaping will start with the warmer weather in March and then these properties are really going to stun the new owners.

We have had lots of interest in all of these properties and it won’t be long until they are all snapped up

Since Christmas, we have had a great push on our rural retreat project in Hertfordshire. Seeing as the housing market is also looking more and more promising, it’s timed in very well so we can take great pride in releasing these stunning four bedroom houses in rural Tring to the market.

We can finally start to show them off a bit!

Progress update in Park Avenue North

We are in the final throes of completion with tiling complete, sanitaryware mainly installed and decorations almost there.

We have a very stringent snagging process to deliver the exceptional quality we can produce which we will start tomorrow using our software. We have set inspections we complete internally before we hand to our clients to do their final checks.

Progress update -

Our flagship project is coming along very well, helped by the lovely weather we are having. Blockwork is complete on the first lift, and scaffold to be installed shortly.

We are constructing in a way that some have questioned, in that we are already forming watertight spaces in the basement (and soon the ground floor) which means a slower superstructure progress but the internals (like Electrical and Mechanical) can start sooner. Even with no roof on, we plan to start those internals trades in the next 4-6 weeks.

Feels as though we are building backwards, but we are always trying to think of new ways to do things to improve the process.

4 year work anniversary announcement

Site update - Windows are in and we are ready to install the porch over the front door. The scaffolding is also being brought down! Storming ahead on one of our projects in Harpenden.

30 years ago today we became incorporated on companies house, we've gone from developing luxury homes in Harpenden and St Albans to building our very own 13,500sqft development on the Wentworth estate.

Feature Friday - The Portico has been installed at The White House with which really enhances the architecture of the building. Traditionally seen in Greek architecture it is widely used today across many different types of architecture.

Congratulations to our Contracts Manager Bru Miller who has been with Oakbridge Homes for 20 years!

Site update: The reinforcement at our Oakbridge development on the Wentworth Estate is being laid prior to the basement slab which has been poured. The Columns are in place, so next step will be the formation of the ground floor bearing slab. Running perfectly to programme!

Site update - Great to see the progress on the staircase at one of our projects in Harpenden, with the bespoke handrail being installed soon this project is charging ahead to the finish line, ahead of programme!

Feature Friday - The PV solar panels have been installed at one of our projects in Harpenden. We've noticed that the majority of our clients are now requesting panels, this could be due to the new battery technology within the panels which stores energy, making them an even more viable product for cutting down on energy costs.

Site update - At our development Pine Trees on the Wentworth Estate we are constructing the ^7000sqft basement slab with the commencement of pouring the walls already underway.

Site update - A few photos from a recent site visit at our Wentworth project with Aspire Luxury Properties Ltd. You'll find shadow gaps in the master en-suite marble, a Gaggenau kitchen with 6 fridges and view from the top floor through to the basement spiral wine cellar...

Site update - Excavation at pine trees is nearing completion for the 7000sqft basement featuring a pool with sauna and steam, gym, home cinema and wine experience room.

Site update - The ground floor tile has been laid at one of our projects in Harpenden. The client has chosen a Porcelain Pyrenees Cerbillona in White which creates a bright and open space, with the kitchen being installed imminently this project is well ahead of schedule! Site Update - Our Wentworth project with Aspire Luxury Properties Ltd is progressing well and the Filetto light marble is now being laid around the spiral wine cellar. The end result from the top floor will certainly be dramatic!
