My visit to you at home is for business purposes. Workmen - plumbers/electicians & mobile hair, nails, beauty services etc can continue in the home as these are not social visits. We, as businesses, are required to complete a risk asssessment & have implemented measures to work within covid safe guidelines.
So your sessions can continue as they have been, at home, abiding by social distancing, with hygeine measures etc in place.
Rhyl Lesiure Centre will still be open as normal and I will still be taking bookings for your appointments at the room.

Hi everyone, there has been an update and I am pleased to announce that I will be able to restart massage treatments from the 27th July, so I will be therefore taking bookings from this date forward.
Unfortunately I will be unable to perform the tsuboki Japanese facial at this time until it is deemed safe by the government to do so. However all other treatments have been approved for resumption by the government.
I am currently finishing my risk assessment to include extra measures for hygiene, providing of hand sanitizer, the wearing of PPE for myself, disposable plastic couch coverings, plastic baskets for personal belongings etc.
Your safety and wellbeing is a priority to me so that you feel comfortable returning to your treatments. I have missed seeing you all and I will look forward to welcoming you back and releasing your aches and pains.

Hello everyone, hope you are all okay as we go through lockdown. Here are some follow up stretches for back and legs to help ease tension. Hope it is some help until we can return to normality.

1. Seated hamstring stretch- sit up straight with your knees pointing forward and both feet on the floor. Flex your foot and simply stretch it out in front of you. The greater the flex of the heel, the more the stretch in the hamstrings and the greater the release if the lower back. Breathe deeply in and out into the stretch and switch sides when your ready. Be careful not to overstretch also.

2. Small spinal roll- Starting with both feet on the floor and a straight spine, begin at the crown of your head and roll down vertebrae by vertebrae. To add more of a stretch in the lower back, tilt the pelvis forward, making sure to do this very gently if your lower back is particularly sore/sensitive/in pain. If you have a lot of tension along your spine this movement can burn a bit but can definitely loosen things up.

3. Seated twist- this one provides a great squeeze for the muscles and decompresses an aching lower back. Sit in your chair wirh your feet flat and parallel. Keep your knees directly above your ankles. Then lift your chin parallel to the floor and guide your ears back over your shoulders. Press your sit bones down and lengthen your spine as best you can.
As you exhale, draw your belly button into your spine and twist to the right holding into the arm or back of your chair. Lengthen the spine with the inhale and deepen the twist with the exhale.
Gently unwind and try the other side.

4. Seated figure 4- Sitting on the front edge of your chair, bring your right foot across your left thigh. Gently place pressure on your left knee to feel a stretch through the hip flexor. Feel free to lean forward, keeping your sit bones firmly in the chair for more relief in the lower back.
Repeat with the other leg when ready.

Hi there everyone, hope your all keeping safe and well. I can understand how hard and stressful it is during these unprecedented and uncertain times so I have put together some relaxation and breathing techniques to help relax tense & aching muscles since covid 19 is a pain in the neck and I can't be there to do a massage.
I hope you find these quick techniques a little help. Self care is most important at this time.
1. Bend your head downwards chin to chest to stretch out the neck then backwards extension eyes to the ceiling. Rotation both ways look over either shoulder.
2. Stretch the shoulders either sitting on a hard chair with both hands underneath the seat or best you can, do some shoulder rotations clockwise & anticlockwise.
3. Stretching arms away from the body and downwards, look to the floor and turn your head/jawline from chest to shoulder. Repeat on each side.
4. Watch your breath. You can develop very deep breathing that will relax your muscles fast. Your body will take care of the inhale just simply focus on making a long steady exhale. Focus on the exhale for 10-20 breaths and feel the tension dissipate from your muscles. As you exhale visualise all tightness and tension leaving the muscles.
