Squeezed in this last minute job!

After British Gas came to visit this property to look at a fault they ended up isolating the boiler due to being unsafe. The customer called us in to see if we could help.

Within 2 days of the boiler being disconnected we managed to get a new ideal vogue system boiler installed and re-establishing heating and hot water to the property.

First boiler of the 2023 ✅

This customer was struggling with their original boiler being really underpowered for the size of the house. The main issue this caused was problems with not all the radiators getting warm and taking too long to get to temperature.

Last weeks shower job that started as a small upgrade to a complete refit!
Our original plan was to replace the tray and shower hardware and install shower boards to upgrade the style and resolve some leaks.
This plan didn’t last very long, after some stripping back we found some very poor previous workmanship that resulted in a lot of mould and rotten joists that meant the whole wall would need replacing.
The shocked customer was able to see each step of the investigation process and has now got complete peace of mind knowing that everything is secure and installed how it should be.

This weeks Install was moving this boiler from a kitchen to their new utility room to make space for renovation works in the customers new home.
We also replaced the heating pipework as the existing run was poorly installed and showing signs of deterioration. All pipes are now hidden out of sight and fully insulated to help increase the efficiency.

Whilst working we visit a lot of properties with incorrectly placed co alarms or properties without any fitted at all. All gas appliances should be serviced yearly to ensure safe operation but for the remainder of the time a carbon monoxide alarm will work to keep you and your families safe. Nice little before and after of a custom built toilet upgrade completed today

Just a couple of the last jobs of the year.

Both ideal vogue max boilers providing 12 years of warranty and piece of mind.

Last week we replaced a struggling Old boiler with a new efficient Ideal Vogue Max.
We removed the old boiler, cylinder and the water storage tank which has now reduced the risk of any water damage. We installed our top product the Vogue Max combination boiler alongside the Ideal Halo smart controls which both will provide instant hot water and controllable heating anywhere around the world. With installing this boiler we are able to offer the full 12 year warranty with our accreditation.

Back to this one a year later for its first 12 month service. It’s very important to service your gas appliances to ensure the correct safety and efficiency and makes sure there is no issues with the long manufacture warranties on them.

This existing customer contacted me to install a new utility sink in their garage, it always feels great to be called back to complete more work.
While I was there I got to see the finished product of a boiler swap I did a few months back, this customer was originally going to box in the boiler in a cupboard but being so impressed with the neatness they decided to leave it on show!

Boiler of the week.
Nice system conversion last week, customer has been struggling with an intermittent old boiler that regularly needs resetting. We swapped it out for the new ideal vogue max Combi and removed the old cylinder to bring the hot water system up to date and free up some more storage.
Whilst completing the install we repiped some existing radiators that had previously been run under concrete floors, as new boiler runs at a higher pressure we wanted the customer to have piece of mind without risks of the original pipe work leaking/failing.

Old vs new Ideal technology

We replaced an old ideal boiler this week with the massively improved ideal vogue max. This install was going into a 22 radiator system so to achieve the best results we carried out alongside the install, a full chemical powerflush to ensure there are no future issues. The Ideal Vogue Max fitted by us supplies a 12 year warranty giving the customer complete piece of mind.

To compliment the A-rated boiler we installed a smart Hive control system so the customers can control their heating and hot water system from anywhere in the world!

Latest upgrades

This was one of the oldest systems I think I’ve worked on, 104 year old house with parts of the heating system around 50 years old.
The heating was so blocked up and dirty that half the radiators didn’t work at all so the best solution was to relocate the new ideal vogue boiler into the garage and to replace some of the older radiators that were leaking. We then chemically cleaned the entire system and treated it to protect the efficiency long term. By changing the old parts for new this left us with a very happy customer that is looking forward to having a lovely warm house next winter. They also have piece of mind with the Ideal Vogue as an accredited installer I can offer 12 years of boiler warranty.

Upgrades from last week!
Initially this customer wanted to replace 1 Radiator as they were complaining about the house not being warm enough, but after discussing the available options we agreed to replace the undersized radiators and the boiler as they were getting old. They also wanted to finally sort the mess of pipe work left from the previous installer.
We Fitted an Ideal vogue max along with all new radiators to compliment. It now provides much better heat throughout the house that’s never been hot enough previously.
