🔥Gas fire repaired 🔥

All the soot in this fire was preventing the fire from lighting. This will be another fire for me to service every year to prevent this from happening again.

☠️Routine Annual Boiler Service and I found a serious fault!

The boiler was working absolutely fine but one of my tests showed up an issue. So I carried out a full strip down service and found the red gasket on the burner was done for, if this had been left it would have turned into a bigger job than just a full strip down service🙈💷!

😩 💰💰💰 Main Heat Exchanger Required for this nearly 10year old Worcester.

Well we thought this boiler was done for!!
The heat exchanger required to get it working properly was a very expensive part and this boiler is just under 10years old. After a quick call to Worcester they sent out a new one for free 😃. On these older boilers they guarantee the heat exchanger for 10years 💪💪

Everyday the customer was having to top the pressure back up on this boiler- I worked out it was the heat exchanger passing pressure down the condensate pipe ( so there was no leak visible around the boiler).

My customer inherited this boiler recently and got me round to service it.

As always I jumped into the loft to inspect the flue and I found a leak coming from a poorly installed vertical flue.

Today, me and Roof Right Roofing replaced all the damaged roof battens,tiles and renewed the damaged section of flue.

If it had been left for another winter of rain who knows how much more damage could have come from this?!

We were lucky to have a visit from the Lon Las Loonies 🤙🏼 earlier today as a pit stop 🍻 on their charity bike ride.

The Loonies were riding to raise money for Prestatyn & Meliden food bank 🍲, who are working hard to help local people in crisis. Their endless work makes a huge difference for the families in our community that have fallen on hard times. 🏖

Replaced a Baxi combi, that was so frustrating for the customers in Prestatyn they would rather just get hot water from their kettle!

High efficient Boiler now installed and hassle free for at least 10 years.

🔥10+ year old boiler brought back to life in Abergele. 🔥

Water leaking onto the fan caused the fan to burn out.

🐦 Stuck Magpie and blocked up fire ☠️

As well as freeing the bird I needed to thoroughly service the fire. There was lots of debris that had piled up on top of the fires outlet, which would have been blocking the fumes from going up the chimney ☠️ ☠️

To prevent this happening again the customer has had a cowl fitted to the chimney pot and the chimney is now fully clear of any obstructions 🔥 🔥🔥
