Introducing from our Glow Signature collection: our exquisite swan neck wall lights. These elegant lights feature pale blue, ribbed, and smoke baubles, complemented by a chic mid Molly design. Perfect for adding a stylish statement to any room in your home.

We're thrilled with how this project turned out. Our customer wanted lighting that wouldn't overwhelm the space and would let the beauty of the landscape outside shine through. She chose three large Mary shades for over the island and two elegant clusters featuring large Molly, Jules, and smoke Bertie. The result is simply beautiful. What do you think?

As a small British business, we take immense pride in crafting everything in house to the highest standards. Aaron, our master glass blower, is an integral part of our team. His dedication to blowing perfect glass shades, ensures each piece is a beautiful addition to your home.

What is your first memory of Queen Mary’s?
Everyone seemed to have tuck boxes. I had never seen them before and was fascinated as they were all full to the brim with treats! 🍫🍬🤭

What were the biggest obstacles you encountered running your own business?
If I am completely honest, as a woman running my own business the hardest challenge for me has been dividing my time effectively. When I read in the media about women working for themselves it is always delivered to the reader as empowering and offering a fabulous work/life balance. Don’t fall for the myth!

Can you describe a typical day at work?
We produce all our lights in Ripon, using British components – mornings are usually spent producing orders, wiring up and testing products. In the afternoons I concentrate on ordering components and designing new or bespoke items for customers.

We’re thrilled to share that our founder, Emily Butterill, has been elected to serve on the Lighting Industry Association council, representing the domestic luminaires constituency ✨

The Lighting Industry Association (LIA) is a professional organisation that represents and supports the lighting industry.

They provide services such as training, technical support, and industry standards development to companies involved in lighting design, manufacturing, and distribution.

“I extend my heartfelt thanks to all the members who voted for me. Glow Lighting takes immense pride in being associated with the LIA. I am incredibly enthusiastic about representing small businesses and domestic lighting on the council. I eagerly anticipate collaborating with Ayca and the LIA to make decisions that shape the future of the lighting industry.”
