A person with agoraphobia is afraid to leave environments they know and consider to be safe for fear of having anxiety or a panic attack.
Agoraphobia can be genetic and often set off by trauma at an early age. this condition is not an excuse given to people to give them the cold shoulder or be snobbish it is a real condition so next time a person says no yet again to a party or a night out for drinks, think first before being offended
