BMW X5 rear wheel drive with a 2L n47 engine Failed timing chain! Easy work for us at Walkers.

BMW 328i GT in for misfire. After quickly finding to have a failed piston a common issue with the n20 engine we had it stripped drown only to find the bores worn out of spec. This had x4 liners bringing the bores back to factory. All parts replaced from gaskets to seals, bearings, chains and more. 👍🏻👍🏻

BMW 330d n57 timing chain. In an out bread n butter job 👍🏻💪🏻

Few ecoboost boost heads and blocks ready to go out. Blocks bored and honed to 0.5 and heads all pressure tested and skimmed.

Nissan Qashqai 1.2 in for burnt out exhaust valve. A very common issue with this engine. All work carried out in house keeping quality and standard’s high

BMW 335d collected from main dealer with snapped glow plugs. Due to mileage we decided the best course of action was engine out. Drill out glow plugs and replace the timing chain. With the cylinder head removed we found 1 glow plug on the edge of falling into the cylinder! Lucky the vehicle wasn’t started.

BMW 535d n57 in for some preventive maintenance. Having the timing chain replaced before they have major issues is the way forward. Upper chain found to be stretched! Perfect timing 👍🏻
