Since Buhurt International pro-fight rule changed to allow unlimited ground fighting, we’ve heard many people say that being on the bottom just means you’ll be stuck there and lose. We’ve been training ground fighting and reversals for a significant amount of time as a club. This clip shows that it is possible to get taken down, defend yourself from your back and effectively sweep and reverse your opponent to end up on top. Had a blast in this great sword duel using some massive falchions! Andy and I agreed to fight this exhibition as 2x1 min rounds with 30s rest. A nice example of a tactical bait and switch. Middle man pursues the middle halberd a little too eagerly. Number 2 man breaks for the check as the halberd circled them into it. Line re-establishes with the switched positions to assess the field.
