A family run tea room offering freshly prepared meals on Sundays and Bank Holidays from Mother's Day until October.

We're back! After the most wonderful of days celebrating with family and friends and a VERY LONG week of tidying up! π
Millcroft Tea room is open today 12 noon until 6pm
Reminder!! We are closed today, Sunday 28th July at Millcroft Tea Gardens due to tidying up after an epic wedding thank you to all our friends and family for a wonderful day!
You may have noticed we no longer have the pail closet toilets at the end of the Tearoom.
Though they were a memorable part of the Millcroft experience, they were becoming hazardous, so we moved to flushing toilets (the future!) and knocked them down.
We have had some talented local people who have landscaped the area, rebuilt the wall & made a lovely patio.
We are open today, 21st July 12 noon until 6pm.
*WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAY 28TH JULY DUE TO THE FAMILY WEDDING*
We will reopen on Sunday 4th August.
Advanced warning!
Millcroft will not be opening Sunday 28th July as we are hosting my younger brothers wedding reception at the Tearoom the day before. πππ
We will be open as usual Sunday 21st July & Sunday 4th August 12 noon until 6pm.
Fingers crossed it stops raining! π€
We are open today 12 noon until 6pm, make the most of the glorious weather and come and join us for a scone with jam and cream or a slice of cake

We have been sent an email to pass on regarding a publicconsultationmeetingin Norden this afternoon:
Dear Villagers,
Re; Public Consultation On Public Space Protection Order At Norden Old Library, Tuesday 7th May 2024 16.00-18.000HRS
Rochdale Council is hosting a 2-hour drop-in session at Norden Old Library from 4pm-6pm on Tuesday, to consult Villagers on the proposed new Public Space Protection Order(PSPO), which they are seeking to implement.
This PSPO is designed to give Police and Council Officers greater powers to deal with a number of issues. Perhaps of greatest importance to our community is enhanced powers to deal with the anti-social use of mechanically propelled vehicles abusing public and other spaces within the Borough.
Many residents will be aware of the impact which anti-social and dangerous use of off-road motorcycles, quads and other machines is having on the safety of our roads and public safety. Some of you will have first-hand experience of the damage to our Rights Of Way network and our moorland by increasing numbers of these riders. Here is a link to the relevant page of the Council's website which explains what is proposed ;
Proposed Borough Wide Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) Public Consultation Survey - Rochdale Borough Council - Citizen Space
Please come and have your say on what is proposed whilst enjoying tea and a biscuit at the Old Library.
Your participation can and does make a difference

Let's hope the weather is as nice as today!
We have homemade hot and cold food, freshly prepared to order.
You may be wondering why Millcroft has so many teapots on display.....
The enamel teapots, aluminium teapots and the brown pot ones are the original purchases from 1926 when the Leach family took over.
Anyone who knows John will know he is reluctant to throw anything away, so when these original teapots came to the end of their lives, he decided to put them on display!
We have been generously donated other teapots over time, so there are over 100 on display!
The last Sunday of this season is 15th October 2023.

Christmas Raffle prize appeal for our local primary school π
We're donating a voucher for the Tearoom when we reopen next Season.
βοΈβοΈ Christmas Raffle Prize Appeal βοΈβοΈ
At this time of year, we plan our Christmas Raffle.
The raffle is one of our maior sources of fundraising in the year and lots of fantastic local businesses have supported us in the past.
However, we understand that things may be a struggle this year for us all and giving away prizes may not be possible.
But, if you are able to do so, we'd like to ask that businesses consider donating a voucher, rather than a product. That way, there is no upfront cost to the business and prize winners can always 'put to' towards further goods or services.
If you feel that your business is able to donate a prize, please message us on here or email us on
[email protected]. We would be incredibly grateful for anything you can do to support us.
We wish all our local businesses a successful and prosperous Christmas period!
