📣 Did you know that many of our parks and open spaces across the borough have accessible features?

Hollingworth Lake now has a sensory garden 🌻 with a raft of colour, scent and texture 🌳 to stimulate all five of our senses and wheelchair accessible pathways.

And, in Castleton, we are installing a new bicycle-themed 🚴 play area with vibrant, graphics, a swing and roundabout for wheelchair users 👨🦼 and a multiple play feature for young children.

Why not visit our website to see what accessible play equipment you can find at each park?

We would like your views on the proposals to introduce a new borough wide Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) which allows us to take action to reduce antisocial behaviour in specific public spaces.

This PSPO is around the consumption of alcohol away from licensed premises and the antisocial use of mechanically propelled vehicles. These vehicles are usually known as motocross bikes, pitbikes, quad bikes and mini-motos.

This survey should only take a few minutes to complete. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership (GMICP) are reviewing adult ADHD services across Greater Manchester - including Rochdale!

Services supporting adults through diagnosis for ADHD have long waiting lists, approximately 15,000 people. This means that an adult who is referred now could wait over 7 years for a diagnosis. On average these services receive 1,500 referrals a month.

The GMICP are open to all ideas of how they can improve services, while ensuring services are NHS affordable for the long term.

There is a survey link below asking about your experiences, thoughts, and feelings on ADHD services as well as the chance to share how you think they could work in the future. Survey open until 24 March 2024.
