This gorgeous balloon hoop was made up for a colour tray party, the latest Tic Tock trend doing the rounds. And even better the party was at my house 😜

With it being such miserable weather outside today it’s easy to forget that it’s actually Spring !!

So here’s some beautiful cherry blossom that I saw on my visit to Kew Gardens last week just to remind us that sunnier days are round the corner ☀️☀️

Fabulous set up today for some very special clients, the lovely Sarah and Adam Okeeffe, my very first clients when I started my business 2 years ago.
I feel very honoured to have been asked back for the 3rd time to make their eldest daughters 18th party extra fabulous. All gold was the brief and I definitely delivered !!

🌸🌿 I FRICKING LOVE IKEA !!! 🌿🌸

Hubby and I have a week off work together now which will mostly be spent working in our conservatory after having some building work done in it. First stop though for inspiration and fabulous accessories is of course my fav shop Ikea !!
And in true Me style, we went in looking for conservatory stuff and have come out with a whole new plan for the dining room !! 🙈🙈
I’m very lucky a have a patient and tolerant husband 🤣🤣🤣

👩🏼‍🎓 Today is all about being a proud muma bear 👩🏼‍🎓

So today my daughter and I went to start viewing universities !! To say I’m terrified of her going off into the big wide world by herself is an understatement. She will always be my baby, but at least I have the next 11 months to get my head round the idea.

So today we viewed Leister then over the next couple of months we have another 4 to look at. Wish us luck !!!

It’s been a while since I posted, I honestly can’t believe where September went !! I blinked and it was gone, if you find it please send it back because I feel like the year is disappearing before my eyes 🙈

Had the most fun with this set up !! Was asked back by one of my favourite clients to design something for their daughters first birthday party. Having discussed that Hey Duggee was the theme to go with we agree on this design and I got to work !! To say I’m pleased with the result is an understatement !!!

It’s been a weekend of weddings but the most important of them was dear friend Jemma and her wonderful new husband Matt’s. Best friends since high school they eventually fell in love and tied the knot on Thursday and threw the most beautiful party on Saturday.
I was of course over the moon when they asked me to provide a bespoke backdrop for them and I have to be honest I was so pleased with the outcome.
Using our fabulous moongate we transformed it into a beautiful woodland foliage hoop finished off with our Snow White Flowerwall making an absolutely perfect backdrop for the bride and groom to be photographed in front of.

Many congratulations to you both, it was a beautiful day for a perfect couple 💚💚

You’ve asked so I don’t like to disappoint !!

When I first started Fairytales and Wonderlands I was adamant I wasn’t going to do balloons, mainly because I don’t like the smell of the latex and they scare the crap out of me when they pop ! 🤣🤣 so I found myself a fabulous lady who was also just starting out in the business but began by specialising in balloons and she has been my go to person when I’m asked for them, however as my confidence has grown I thought I would give it a go and well, here we are now…. I now offer balloons with my backdrops.

Don’t get me wrong if it’s something larger than I think I can handle then Daizie at Cloud Nine & Shine Bespoke Events is still my go to woman !!

Our beautiful sweet cart was out celebrating a wedding !! The lovely couple hired it naked so they could add their own sweets to it. We added some cherry blossom flowers and some fairy lights just so she didn’t look so bare…… it was a wedding after all !!
