Etsy is a pain, I’ve been thinking of leaving due to the exorbitant charges. They automatically sign you up for online advertising and postage costs are astronomical. I’m unable to sell at markets due to my current health so will have to persevere for the time being and remind myself that it’s not all about the money, it’s about being happy.

The brief for this one was either stags or Canadian bears. I struggled to find any suitable fabric with bears-so stags it is!

I think I need a bigger car

A cute little ceiling shade. This would lovely in a nursery or child’s room

Funky little make. Totally tropical

I hate waste. These fabrics would’ve ended up in landfill eventually. I’d love to make them in to statement piece shades, especially the parrot one. The issue is that if I make a ceiling shade I always get contacted to ask if I can make it for a table lamp. I really can’t as they will be one offs.

Finally, I’ve got round to updating my Etsy page. Their charges have recently increased so I much prefer to sell independently.

This feels very and for me!
I’ve had my eye on this fabric for a while and managed to grab the end of roll
It’s a beautiful natural linen with gold and black accents

I get a warm glow (just like this shade) to see my creations in their new homes. Huge thanks to 💕

Wherever possible I reuse packaging and boxes. Some of my shades are ‘one offs’ as they use vintage fabrics. I’m really trying to do my bit.
