Cable install UG and OH
A*5
Risk assessments

Must have at least 2 years experience working on the openreach or virgin networks

Over 25 only

And have the following accreditations

Streetworks unit2 or supervisors ticket

SA001 - safety overhead
SA002 - Safety underground

As a minimum any any others you may have

Full driving licence and over 25

We are recruiting for FTTP Surveyors in the Southeast and London Areas. As a FTTP Surveyor, you will be responsible for surveying the potential PIA routes.

Responsibilities include:
- Surveying and validation of proposed fibre routes.
- Validate PIA on sites and identify issues and required work arounds (civils, new ducts, chambers etc).
- Create survey complete packs and provide effective updates to desk-based planners.
- Perform detailed surveys.
- Identification of individual house or multi-dwelling building.
- Identify existing telecom connections.
- Existing manhole assessments (location, type, conditions)
- Existing pole assessments (location, type, conditions)

Surveyor will be self-sufficient.
A minimum of 2 years good experience of working in a Fibre Network Planning Environment.

Key Skills:
- Knowledge of FTTP architecture.
- Knowledge of Openreach and experience working in the Openreach network.
- Ability to carry out detailed surveys of the built environment and capture the most feasible and cost-effective solution for new build in accordance with the specifications.
- Skilled at identifying any potential SED or specific traffic management requirements and ability to determine at planning stage, any specific wayleave requirements.
- Experience using GIS platforms.
- Ability to use a smartphone, a tablet or a laptop with a Geographical Information System (GIS).

Valid Accreditation, Signing, Lighting and Guarding.
Openreach PIA Duct & PIA Pole Survey Valid Accreditations. A9, S2, A8, S5 S11, S13.

Fibre Build Operatives required for build work throughout Southeast. Must be an all-rounder. Rates will reflect on this. Duties will include:
- Blockages
- Modular box building
- Ducting
- Core drilling
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working on a fibre build.
Must have clean driving license.
Must have CSCS card.
Digger ticket up to 10T preferred but not essential.
PIA accreditation preferred but not essential.
Long term work for successful candidates.

Fibre optic TRR / Cable Engineers required to cover small works on the Openreach contract working out of our Rochester depot.
