First team started their season in the NRG 24HR Gyms Kent County Football League yesterday and started with a 4-1 win over SCThamesmead Reserves, who were recently promoted to the division. After a few early scares, Cuxton took control of the game and scored 3 first half goals through Danny Rowe and Tommy Mitchell. The second half was comfortable for Cuxton and Caleb Dyce extended our lead. After missing a few opportunities, including a missed penalty by James Bush, SC Thamesmead scored in the closing moments of the game to deny Cuxton a clean sheet on the opening day of the season. Next fixture is away to Borden on Tuesday 13th August 6:30pm kick off.
