Saturday 13th Aug, Katie & Clive play from 3.30pm followed by the amazing & popular BLOODLINE at 6.30pm in The Rising Sun family friendly garden, Rochester. Afternoon BarBQ also available.

Recently wed duo Hannah & Shaun aka: Young & Wise, (no prizes for guessing who is who!) play for Pass the Hat in it's new home at The Rising Sun, Rochester, on August Bank Holiday weekend Saturday 27th.
In between touring the UK as a regular guitarist with the very popular Dolly Parton Country Extravaganza Showband via Country Superstars Ltd, Shaun, who now lives and is a Classically trained guitarist, also offers guitar lessons locally - Hannah, originally from the Netherlands, accompanies Shaun with some sweet vocals

To Help to Keep Live Music Alive, the Sun's Hat will be passed around to help the pub support regular Live music and local musicians.

A Bar-B-Q will also be available (weather permitting) in the family and dog friendly garden.
*NB: Dogs must be on a lead and owners are responsible to clean up after them.

Saturday 20th Aug. Pass the Hat brings Steve Boltz (ex- Atomic Rooster) to Rochester to perform in conjunction with The Rising Sun celebrating The Medway Pride weekend.

- An amazing musical CV shows Steve as a man whose rock credentials are as thrilling as the guitar riffs he plays. From his early days with Atomic Rooster, his guitar slinging skills and composing talents have been sought by the likes of the Who, Paul Young, Rick Wright, Dave Gilmour, John Otway, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Belinda Carlisle and countless others.
In 2013 Steve was given the fantastic honour of a lifetime achievement at the Galaxy Music Awards!

He is currently also working hard on the music circuits with his band Dead Man's Corner.
