I used to really struggle with switching off whilst on holiday and I’d get so frustrated with myself.

I used to put so much pressure on myself to relax and in fact that used to make matter worse. Then guess what…my skin, mood, energy levels all started playing up. Kind of goes against the whole point of a holiday!

Then I realised the issue was that I wasn’t happy with aspects of my life. Over the past few years I’ve worked hard at addressing these areas of my life and although I’ve still got some more work to do…I can already feel the benefits ❤️

My recent holiday was the real proof. Lying in the middle of the ocean on an inflatable without a care in the world.

So I guess my message to you is if something’s not making you happy…invest in yourself and start making changes to address it. Life is short. Life is precious 😘

What better way to celebrate than a mini break to Cornwall - it’s been so much fun! There’s something liberating about being off grid for a few days by the sea 💙🤍

Let's talk body confidence.

Something I lacked for years.

And I don't know if it's an age thing but I can safely say I'm in a place where I just don't care as much. For years I criticised every part of my body and always jumped on the latest "Health" graze bandwagon. But since other elements in my life fell into place such as hubbie, kids, work I came to realise that I was in fact channelling my lack of control onto my own body.

Does this sound familiar?

Life is so short that I've come to realise there is no such thing as a perfect body. What's perfect to you may not be for someone else. The most important thing is your health and mindset. Once you tackle both of those you can start to cut yourself some slack and learn how to actually "like" yourself. I may not be "in love" with my body but that's ok as I finally respect it and am thankful for it.

I think it's time you did too 😘

A few days ago I looked in the mirror and it hit me...I'm starting to age😳! It seemed to happen over night and I suddenly really felt my age!

Can anyone relate?

So we started with some Filler in the cheek area and Wrinkle Relaxing Treatments in the forhead frown and around the eyes during my clients first visit.

This meant on the second visit we didn’t need to treat the nasolabial folds and marionettes with Filler as much as first planned.

A real personal one from me today ❤️

This is my aunt.

And that tiny little dot on her face in the top left corner photo turned out to be cancer. It’s tiny isn’t it.

Thankfully she’s had it removed and she’s doing ok🥹

And do you know what she says was the cause? It was from years of never wearing sunscreen. Now you know why I bang on about it!

It was a tiny dot that kept bleeding and going crusty…and there was a bigger lesion under the skin.

SPF matter guys - don’t be another victim to the big C 🙏

I love this lovely ladies aesthetic journey 🥰

We worked with our client for a couple of months, on a treatment pathway to a full face rejuvenation.

During her journey we have treated her cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionettes (the lines from the mouth), lip filler and we have treated the lines above the lips with various techniques including cannula and needle work.

The difference already is clear to see and we can’t wait to continue on this journey to create a more youthful look 😍

You could spend £££'s on skin treatments - but if you are not getting the fundamentals right when it comes to your skincare then you will never feel the full benefits of your treatments.

How to manage a bruise after filler...

Any time your skin is damaged, it has the potential to bruise. While I am precise with my injections to reduce the effects of bruising, there will always be some damage to the blood vessels in your lips.

By working with an experienced professional for your aesthetic procedures, you can be sure that you will receive the best care to mitigate any side effects.

Bruising is quite normal and although some people will experience moderate bruising after their filler appointment, others won’t. This depends on your genetics and your blood vessels. If you are normally sensitive to bruising, then you may have worse side effects after your injections. If it takes a lot for you to bruise normally, then you might not notice much sensitivity.
