We are a community based rowing club, open to all whether new to rowing or with experience. We are run for and by the membership on a voluntary basis.
Beautiful morning on the river. We are a rowing club based on the River Medway in Rochester with a wide membership which includes juniors, senior squads of men and women, and masters. Pop by Sunday mornings to find out more.
Medway Towns Rowing Club in Historic Rochester has an ever growing Ladies Squad with a range of members who participate in competitive, fun and social rowing. We are a wide range of age and ability from Novice to Elite and we have dedicated coaches who help with training on and off the water in the Club’s gym facilities.
Both men and women squads are always looking for new members so if you’re interested in joining or simply would like to try out something new please get in touch!

We have spaces at our junior sessions ( age +13) and also taking bookings for Learn to Row course starting this autumn.

Get in touch, let us know your previous experience and come down for a tour of the club. We welcome all ages (juniors start +14 ) Our taster sessions give you the chance to have a go before committing to anything more.

Rowing is great for juniors to learn self discipline, attention to detail and team unity! If you are 13+ and would like to try sport of rowing MTRC run junior sessions Saturdays 9:30 am and Wednesdays 17:00
Rowing is a very social sport. We have a ready-made community where you meet new people and make life-long friends. And if you would like to compete or participate in rowing races away from your club, you'll quickly get to know people in other clubs too! Everyone is welcome in the sport, whatever your ambition is! Ages 13+

Did you know that rowing works nearly all of the muscles in your body so it is a very efficient work-out… and if that's what you want then do get in touch with us about our Learn to row course. We are also recruiting for +13 junior squad!

Junior group focuses on learning to row, developing an understanding of the sport, teaching resilience, team effort, confidence and love for outdoor sport!
Junior sessions run Wednesdays 5- 6pm and Saturdays 9:30- 10:30 am
