SCHOOL COOK OPPORTUNITY
I feel I have come full circle - I am now looking on behalf of Goodrich CofE Primary School for a school cook. Goodrich School is where I started my journey as someone who passionately loved cooking to enhance the health and wellbeing of our future generations. The school is now seeking an enthusiastic cook to join the friendly and dedicated team in the kitchen and, like me, believes that nutritious meals and good food education are the foundation of a healthy future for our children. I am delighted in my role as a school food consultant to be supporting the successful applicant.
If you know of anyone that may be looking for an opportunity like this then please share. Here is a link to job advert:

An amazing first ‘Lets Cook’ session at Ross on Wye Community Garden in the ‘al fresco kitchen.’ Sharing the passion of cooking with twelve KS2 children, utilising produce from the Zero Waste Stall and educating the children about sourdough and the ingredients they chose to make their delicious pizzas. Watching them grow in confidence and enthusiasm was wonderful.
Congratulations to the kitchen team at Lea Primary School gaining a well deserved 5 rating from Herefordshire’s EHO inspection today.
Well done to the kitchen team at Gorsley Goffs Primary School on achieving a 5 for your Food Hygiene Rating.

As all schools embark on a new term, I have the priviledge of working with two local primary schools to re-establish their school kitchens, so they can provide healthy and nutritious meals for their pupils.
Both Gorsley Goffs and Lea Primary School have the ambition to promote the reconnection with fresh, local souced and wholesome food to enable pupils, staff and parents to benefit from on-site cooking with newly trained cooks and assistants. An exciting new project for all involved.
The most delicious vegetarian Massaman curry-sweet, sour, salty and spicy. Real depth of flavour with cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, coriander seed, cloves, turmeric and lemon grass-such a fantastic combination with butternut squash and tofu.
