Yesterday we said thank you and good luck to Tom and welcome to Ella!🥳

Tom has just completed his placement year at Just Crisps and Just Oil as a part of his degree studying at Birmingham University. 🎓

Ella will gain experience across sales, marketing, logistics, procurement and NPD which will help her in her final year at Harper Adams university. 🥔

We have now supported the development of seven students who have gained experience and contributed to running the Crisps and businesses and have gone on to work for the likes of FoodGroup 🥔

Andy Leek our farrier and Just Crisps fan has been at Wade Lane Farm this week to change the shoes on our horses. This is a harmless process for the horses that begins with removing the previous shoe and preparing and trimming the hoof. The new horseshoe is then attached by searing the new shoe onto the hoof which is then nailed in place. 🐎

Just Crisps @ for the Premiership final - our prediction is Sea Salt & Black Pepper will be the winner. COYB !

The key differences between flavours are the thickness of the plume and the direction of the plume. To many, this is just a picture of the race organisers in a motorboat - but to The Brightsides, this was the last proper human interaction the team would have for 52 days! 🤯🤯🤯

From this point onwards the team were on their own. 😲

For the most part, Rod rowed with Anna, Guy rowed with Pez, and they rowed for 24 hours a day in 2 hours on, 2 hours off shifts. However their boat did allow them to row 3 up at times when required. 💪

The next time the team would see the race organisers was when they went out to meet them in another boat from Falmouth Harbour in Antigua - and what a day that was! 🥰
