We are part of a dance studio owners group on Facebook and this has been set up by one of the studio owners to support the families of those who have been affected by the horrific and tragic events on Monday in Southport.

This group has raised the most money for the families thus far- the dance community supporting each other in whatever way we can.

💪 TEAM AJ absolutely smashed it once again on Saturday at the Brereton carnival.

⭐️ You all performed beautifully and had loads of fun out there sharing your skills with our local community and we are SUPER PROUD of you.

👗 🎁 Sorting over 700 costumes the morning after with my two glamorous assistants and feeling very thankful for all the love and the super generous gifts!

❤️Each year you knock my socks off you gorgeous lot!
❤️You all took the stage yesterday with confidence, commitment, energy and a whole lot of heart!
❤️ I told you all that you would make me proud if I saw that you were having the best time up there and by golly you did. I saw the light in your eyes, the fire in your belly and the joy in your hearts. Oh how proud I am of you all.
❤️Performing arts exists to bring people joy and you can only do that if you feel it yourself: I was beyond thrilled to see it spilling out of you all on the stage yesterday.
❤️9 months of technique and skill development, movement memory practise, dynamic and projection progression lit up the stage and all your hard work kept a huge audience captivated for an entire showcase. Thank you dancers- you have made all my dreams come true!!
❤️Thank you so much to everyone who helped make yesterday possible.
❤️To Amy and Liz for their expertise and commitment to Pace, beginners and Tap throughout the year and to the extra preparations m for the delivery of some exceptional pieces in the show. You are both very special and true assets to our team! We are so grateful to you.
❤️Thank you to our 3 amazing teaching assistants Dan, Lily and Faith. They help with endless studio tasks and support our dancers in classes each week, ensuring the choreography is accessible to all and that everyone is supported and challenged. You guys are priceless.
❤️Thank you soooooo much to our army of Chaperones who worked tirelessly yesterday to keep all our dancers well looked after, praised, safe and happy. You are all true angels and we are so grateful that you gave up your time to support us. You made it possible.
❤️Thank you to the Garrick team for a truly professional experience from start to finish and for meeting our every request. What an incredible theatre- we are very lucky indeed to hold our showcase in such wonderful surroundings.
❤️Lastly, thank you to my own team. My family and close friends who do so much behind the scenes to help keep the studio (and me) ticking by each week. It really does take a village to pull off something like this and I am very blessed indeed with an incredible support network.

🎂 TODAY WE TURN 6! 🎂

Today was the first day back in 2018 that we opened our doors for weekly classes in 3 genres. After some successful taster sessions over the half term, we opened with a small group of dancers that grew quickly as word spread.

We have achieved so much these past 6 years- dancers have grown up with us, moving through groups and developing incredibly as dancers, performers and people. We have gained some fantastic teachers who have helped us to grow and expand and have established a dance family ethos that is second to none ❤️❤️

I am so incredibly proud of all we have achieved as a team and will be eternally grateful to each and everyone of you for choosing AJ.
