We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Fitter / Assembly Operative / Multi Skilled Tradesperson. You will visit customer sites to install custom made carports and canopies. Previous experience installing carports, canopies or shelters would be ideal. However, we will consider candidates who have transferable skills gained from a similar background. We can offer flexible hours to fit in with your other work. There may also be other opportunities to work full-time for the company. Although this will be discussed in more detail during the interview.
***This is a self-employed position and candidates will need to be CIS registered.***
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS - We will require you to have the following skills and experience:
⭐Have good practical skills with experience using hand tools within a commercial environment.
⭐Candidates who have worked in the trades, double glazing window fitting or construction industry, or someone who has completed an Engineering Apprenticeship. This is preferable but not essential.
⭐Must be flexible on working hours, location and willing to travel to customer sites, with occasional overnight stays when needed.
⭐Must have an eye for detail.
⭐Can cut, drill and measure accurately.
⭐Must have excellent customer facing skills due to dealing with customers on site, with a professional can do approach to your work.
⭐Must be over 25, CIS Registered and have a full clean Driving Licence.
We will provide a fitting van which will need to be picked up and returned to the office in Rugeley after each fitting and installation job. Whilst training we will provide all the tools required. However, you will be expected to buy and use your own tools once training is completed.

Prime example of why Google reviews can't be trusted. This fake review has been left against our company name and we have no clue who they are.
After working hard for over 20 years to build up excellent customer service and ZERO failure rate, fake feedback like this is very damaging to a companies reputation.
