Playaway Day Nursery Beechwood

Buttercups had a lovely trip to library today exploring the books and blocks! Some of us enjoyed a hot chocolate whilst our friends napped then we went to the cafe and had some yummy food! We have had such a fun Friday📚🍓

Sunflowers have had a lovely day making our own Bird feeders and binoculars to celebrate Bird Watch week 🐦🐦 we also practiced our writing skills by writing our sound of the moment 'n'. A big happy birthday to our weather lady too! Well done Sunflowers!

Daffodils have had a busy day day today. We have been playing in Bluebells garden, playing in the sand and in the role play area we have been playing in the play doh. Enjoy your weekend daffodils ❤

Daffodils have had a lovely busy day. The weather man said it was going to be cloudy and sunny 🌞 We played in bluebells garden. We all picked our own musical instruments and sang along to some of our favourite nursery rhymes. Played in the home corner. Broke the ice to see the snowflakes ❄❄ played in the sand tray ❤ Well done daffodils ⭐

Buttercups loved playing with the play dough and mega blocks. We had some free play and music and movement❤

Today we have enjoyed retelling the story of the 3 little pigs through construction and role play. We have been looking at different shapes and making repeating patterns. The children were really good at our number recognition too! Well done Sunflowers😊

Today in daffodils the weather man told us, it was cloudy outside and our season is winter ☁❄ We played wheels on the bus. Then we all played shape bingo. Well done daffodils ❤

Buttercups loved foil painting with cotton wool! We enjoyed our song bag and music and movement 💙💚

Today in Sunflower's we have been having lots of free play and talking about what we got off Father Christmas! We have also enjoyed making some piggy faces to go along with our book of the moment 'The Three little pigs'. A big well done to our weather person H.J too 👍

Daffodils have had a busy day doing lots of painting for our displays we then have enjoyed playing with dinosaurs cars and singing and dancing

Buttercups loved gluing and sticking snow men and exploring in the icing sugar making stamps 🎅❤

Daffodils have had an amazing day we have enjoyed making pictures using stickers we then enjoyed playing in the kitchen area and pretending to make food we then had a big dance and practiced our letter "i" and finished off our day playing a traffic light game where we pretended to be in cars and followed the colours code "red means stop "
"Amber means get ready"
" green means go"

Tonight in bluebells we enjoyed a lovely walk with pre-school to see the Christmas lights🎄🎅

Another day of Christmas crafts in Sunflowers, we have learnt all about Hanukkah and had a visit to to see the Christmas lights. 🎊🎉
