Raising Money for Charity

We are supporting Karen in trying to raise funds for the Lister Hospital Kidney Unit (LAKPA) by selling Easter Chicks with a cream egg

The chicks will be available in the Tea Room from today.

They will also be a supply donated for World Kidney Day on 9th March at lister hospital

All proceeds will be donated so If you can please support LAKPA by buying a chick

Do you fancy a coffee, hot chocolate, ginger and pear cake, or perhaps a Vibernum Tinus or Ilex Crenata Ball? Our tea room and plant sales are open Tuesday-Sunday from 9-4 (10-4 on Sundays).

With no sign of the snow and ice melting at Mill End Plants, we have taken the difficult decision to remain CLOSED on Friday 16th, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th December.
The Tea Room and Nursery will next open on Sat 31st Dec (New Years Eve) from 9am-1pm and Sun 1st Jan (New Years Day) from 10am-1pm.

Thank you to everyone that attended our wreath making sessions this year - even though it was very cold for some sessions!
We have raised £1140 for Macmillan Cancer Support - which Mill End Plants are rounding up to £1500.
Attached are some pictures of the amazing wreaths everyone created.

Just a little reminder that as we step into the festive weeks ahead, our Christmas wreath making starts on Tuesday and is running daily for two weeks. All fees £15 ahead are being donated to MacMillian Cancer Support, places are limited and must be booked in advance.
The workshops start at 12noonand the price includes coffee and a mince pie and your wreath and foliage. Additional add on decorations are available for sale at a very reasonable price or alternatively you can bring your own.
Our Tea Room will also be serving a selection of new festive tasty temptations on our menu (GF) also available.

Our last day of opening is Sunday 18th December
However we will be opening for New Years Eve and New Years Day
