Role: Branch Assistant
Hours: Full Time

Job Description:

- Building relationships with customers through excellent customer service, understanding requirements and ensuring that the correct products are selected; as a result securing on going business
- Raising invoices, processing orders and taking payments in a timely manner
- Maximising every opportunity to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Keeping the trade counter/ showroom tidy and restocked at all times
- keeping on top of warehouse management including restocking and general cleaning/tidying
- Managing deliveries to the branch, checking in and ensuring they are both correct and in good condition, highlighting and raising any issues immediately
- Liaising with suppliers and buyers where necessary
- Performing any other duties as may be deemed necessary or required

Please note this role does require occasional heavy lifting.

Experience:

- Excellent customer service and customer facing skills
- Knowledge of the plumbing/bathroom sector
- Previous Sales experience

You need to be:

- Good time keeper, reliable and trustworthy
- Able to work well under pressure
- Work well as part of a team as well as being able to use your own initiative

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm
Alternative Saturday 8am - 1pm

Salary: £25-30k depending on experience and potential customer base
