I know it’s only September but it’s time to announce our Christmas wreath workshops!

We are doing 3 wreath workshops at Moreteyne Manor at the end of November and start of December, with scope to do more if there is enough demand.

I am also hoping to do some others in different areas as well so if there’s any you’d like to see elsewhere let me know!

We have moved!! 🏡🔑

Connor and I moved from our first flat to a house! We moved in on Friday whilst I also had two weddings to flower up this weekend, hence why I’ve been so quiet on socials.

The studio hasn’t quite moved yet so that is still based in Kempston, Bedford but once we have sorted out our garage it will be moving to our house which is in Higham Ferrers, Rushden. This will not affect any wedding bookings as I will still be covering the same area.

This house is a bit of a do-er upper, so I will be posting lots of this on my stories if you are interested! 🌸🌿🍀

How was your bank holiday weekend?!☀️

We spent it relaxing and also getting ready for our upcoming move! I will also be ordering the last of this weeks wedding flowers! I have two gorgeous weddings this weekend so replies on emails and messages may be a little slower than normal but don’t worry, I will reply as soon as I can! 🌸🍀🌿

I absolutely love creating bouquets that have lots of different textures, like this one with the velvety roses, fluffy pampas grass, curly chrysanths, spiky bleached ruscus and trailing foliages!

Ready and waiting! These bridesmaids were the perfect compliment to Lucy’s pretty bouquet!

They were made to look like delicate, posy versions of the bridal bouquet, this way they all match but the brides still stands out 🌸🍀🌿

Still loving these staircase florals at ashridgehouse 🥰

Flowering up the staircase is a great way of making a statement at your venue without being in the way! They bring the colour scheme and vibe throughout your venue and can be reused in different ways after the ceremony.
This staircase was made of 10 separate arrangements which were placed on each step and then they were reused individually on the tables!🌸🌿🍀

Super pretty tables at Bassmead Manor Barns this week! And it was so lovely to work with scrumdiddlyyumptious for the first time! Their styling really brought everything together, the candles alongside the table runners and napkins were perfect to match with the flowers!

And you know I always love bud vases for tables as they look so cute whatever you do with them 🌸🌿🍀

Bud vases!🥰

One of the most versatile designs there is! Bud vases can be used in so many different places and ways.

You could use them in a small cluster like this or en masse to get a really full look!

They are also something that can be moved around during your wedding day so can be reused after your ceremony!

And the good thing is, I have tons of bud vases to hire out so you don’t need to worry about providing them yourself 🌸🍀🌿

This kind of arch can be done in several ways, it could be completed covered or just a few small clusters. This one is kind of in between the two as it has the asymmetrical clusters whilst still showing some of the arch frame.

This kind of design is great as it can be moved and reused through the day too!🌸🌿🍀

Choosing your colour scheme can be quite difficult, but it’s always best to choose something that matches your personality as well as your venue!

For example, for a more formal and grand venue you may want to go for something classic like white and green, whereas for a barn style venue which is a bit more rustic you could add some pops of colour in there!

I always prefer boutonnières to buttonholes! Boutonnières are made up of several different pieces of material almost like a tiny bouquet but buttonholes are made up of one large flower and a piece of foliage or filler flower.

I personally think boutonnières are more delicate and pretty, and they suit a lot more of the style of weddings I tend to do. 🌸🌿🍀

I made these with moss and chicken wire so they are foam free!
I also spray painted the lanterns as they were originally white, but I absolutely love them in gold!🌸🍀🌿
