Hello September!

Summer holidays are over in a blink of an eye, the kids are back to school this week and it is now officially the start of the Meteorological autumn! I don’t know about you but I am not ready for that! After not really getting a great summer of sunshine I am still holding out for a late Indian summer, I can dream I guess

August was busy with lots of departures and lots of lovely bookings, next year and Christmas is popular at the moment, people are being organised and thinking ahead, I have made bookings for Corfu, Barbados, Bali Gran Canaria and a Christmas cruise, and I am working on quotes for 2025 for Florida, Japan, a couple of family trips for next summer and Bali.

September is probably my busiest departure month, I have over 20 departures this month, poor Linda has been working hard getting everyone’s documents out to them! Thank you Linda! I have clients off to Las Vegas, Turkey, Australia & Bali, Med Cruises, Marrakech, Rhodes, Gran Canaria and some lovely clients who got married at the weekend are off to Rhodes for their Honeymoon this week,

In a few weeks I will be heading off, on my Gold trip, as one of the top selling Travel Counsellors, I have the opportunity to spend time with colleagues and experience a fabulous new location, this year I am off to Doha in Qatar for 5 nights, there is 100 Travel Counsellors, partners and colleagues jetting off to the Fairmont Doha, I don’t have the itinerary yet but I will take you along with me and share what I get up too, and then as Doha is a great connection point to many other places in the world, I have extended my stay and I am heading to the Maldives for 4 nights eek so excited

September is my work anniversary month, on 24 September I will be celebrating 11yrs in business as a Travel Counsellor! and 31 years in the Travel Industry, wow I do feel old now,
I would like to say a huge Thank you to everyone you continues to book with me and recommends me to friends and family, I couldn’t do the job I love without you!

It is business as usual now, well for 4 weeks until I head off to Doha for the Travel Counsellors Gold Weekend, here is a few holiday snaps and look out for my blog soon,

I am now out of the office on Annual leave, I am sailing the Norwegian Fjords on a P&O cruise with all of my family to celebrate my big birthday, ( I am 21 again!) I will be back at my desk, probably not recharged or relaxed but with some great memories on Monday 19 August,

Well the sunshine finally arrived and fingers crossed it stays around for a bit longer!

July was a super busy month with last minute breaks for this summer to Greece, New York, Fuerteventura, Majorca, and Portugal, some winter trips in search of sunshine to the Maldives, Barbados, Dubai and some adventures for 2025 to Canada and Vietnam,

August sees 20 departures, to Mexico, Rhodes, Zante, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Kefalonia, Sivota, Crete, Turkey, Thailand to name just a few places, and I am off to Norway on a cruise,
