It is still so hard to comprehend the awful events that happened yesterday. A group of children left their houses for what was due to be such a great day of fun. This is what our students do every day we run classes, events or shows.

We can not begin to imagine the hurt we would be feeling if it was our dance school, our teachers, our parents and of course our students.

Starlight Dance & Musical Theatre School on behalf of all our students and their families send its love and support to all those affected. Our hearts are broken by the news today that a 3rd child has passed in such horrific circumstances.

We stand with the dance teachers who managed to get so many children to safety and put themselves in harms way doing so.

This day will never be forgotten by dance schools and we simply hope it will never be repeated.

Our on-call crew from Rushden Fire Station recently attended the Summer Faye at Henry Chichele Primary School in Higham Ferrers

Attending these events are great for letting people get close to the engines and equipment we use and chat to the firefighters about fire, water and road safety and also about what it is like being a firefighter. Hopefully inspiring a few future firefighters along the way.

We had some very special visitors that we brought with us to the Summer Fayre!! Chase, Marshall and Skye wanted to pop along see us perform and they even managed to join the Northamptonshire Police and the Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service. 🚒🚓

Even the weather couldn’t stop our students as they all performed their socks off and smashed their routines. We loved every minute 🤩🤩

Important announcement…

It is with great sadness and regret that we are going to be losing our dance teacher/ principal Rhianna Davies

Rhianna has decided to follow her ultimate dream of joining the touring circus as Penelope the Clown. She starts her tour immediately, so Kim Long will be taking over teaching our classes from this week.

She sends you all her best wishes for the future and hopes to see you on the road at some of her shows!! First date of the tour is 1st April 2024.

PROUD DAY!

So exciting and such a big step for our dance school!! Today we completed on our brand new Head Office / Offices / Costume Show Room / Prop and Scenery warehouse! This will be the main hub for our 10 schools 🙂🥂

A massive thank you to everyone. It’s been a wild 15 years and we can’t believe we are able to take this step!
