* WE NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE *
We urgently need to replace the floor under our safety matting. As you can see in the pictures there is gapping which is a trip hazard also making it harder to keep the sensory room clean and safe. We have to relay the safety matting flooring daily, yet this gapping and moving still happens. If we can raise enough money to replace the carpet with hard flooring then it will prevent the gapping and moving of the safety matting. It will also allow wheelchairs to move freely over the safety matting and make it much easier to wheel a hoist over making our sensory space accessible for all. We have set up a fundraising page, this is to fit a ply floor base and then vinyl over. If you can help in any way we would be ever so grateful Thank you x

A lovely morning yesterday at our parent carer well being session. Todays 0-3yrs session is Full though there are still places available for tomorrow’s Baby Sensory at 9.30am .

We have our parent carer well being morning tomorrow (Wednesday) 9.30-11.30am. Pop in and say hello, stay for a short time or the whole session, join in a craft or just sit and chat. Craft this month is fabric painting .

A fantastic final day at Isle of Wight Festival in Isle of Wight Festival Kidzone. We have had such an amazing time. A huge thank you to our fabulous Sensory Space CIC team it certainly was a busy one !

Another fab day at Isle of Wight Festival in the Isle of Wight Festival Kidzone . Couldn’t go to the festival without bringing big ted!

So the building begins! Time to make this tent into a sensory space ready for Kids zone opening tomorrow at the IW festival. Sensory Space CIC Isle of Wight Festival.

We are starting an appeal to raise money to replace our flooring in the sensory room. Our current floor is an ancient carpet with safety matting over it. We need to replace the carpet with vinyl flooring to help keep it clean, and safe and allow wheelchairs/hoists to move over it easily making it more accessible for all. Any help however small is very much appreciated.
We will also have a collection pot at our sessions.

We are very excited and honored to be asked to attend the IW Festival this year. Sensory Space will be in the kid's zone, tucked in a quiet corner. If your child needs a break from the hustle and bustle come and visit us. This means our center will be closed from Wednesday 19th June - Monday 24th June.
