Ring repair carried out by Harriet for a client who had lost the original stone and letter. The lapis stone had to be cut to the correct size & shape with a new letter J made with the fittings so that it all slotted together & could be set in place.

Happy Friday to you, wishing everyone a wonderful weekend ahead. This weeks creative works are based on a clients ring that came in for repair. The ring head needed rebuilding and a new shank created, this was worked on & made new again by Harriet

Earrings commissioned for a special client which were beautifully handmade by Amy.

The gold was supplied by the client and the Lapis gemstone cut to shape & size by Guy.

From initial design sketches to the finished piece. Designed by Susie for our client, made by Guy in 18ct gold, multi coloured Sapphires and Diamonds.

Here's a rather stunning re-model we've completed recently. Re-designed by Susie and Guy, and re-modelled by Guy, we altered the orientation of the diamonds in the engagement ring to complement our clients wedding ring, and altered the height of the wedding ring setting and width of the shank to sit perfectly together with the engagement ring. Don't they make a perfect pair!

We love to take on commissions. This pretty bracelet made by Amy features gorgeous Tanzanite beads and a hand cut hammered heart.

Sometimes we have a commission come in which is that little bit different and quite complex.

Our client had lost a beloved earring, so our experienced goldsmith Harriet expertly replicated the design and grain set the diamonds so they could be worn and loved once again.

We're known for our repairs, but did you know we also take commissions?

This lovely ring was re-modelled for a client, using their own gold & precious gems. Here it is from initial sketch to final piece.

We have a lot of customers who come to us after a bit of home DIY ring removal (as you will see from the first photo). We are able to safely and efficiently remove any rings for you, this is a free service that we offer.

G&M are looking for a part time retail person to join our busy, dynamic jewellers.
The position involves dealing with customers, queries, stock, displays and some light administration. Generally helping to keep areas clean, tidy and running smoothly.
The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, be highly motivated and organised, able to work within a small friendly team.
Working hours are Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays 9.30am- 5pm

Here at G&M jewellery we often get asked if we do repairs. We realised that we haven't posted any. So here is a repair of a well loved but well worn ring. It's amazing to see what it originally looked like. Restored to its original glory by Guy

Look at this unique commission this was made from several sentimental smaller rings. We worked with the client to ensure a design that was just what they wanted. We aim to please but is always so warming to see someone so happy with what we've made.
