I’ve practiced yoga for 3 decades, studying/joining/teaching Vinyasa, Sivananda, Iyengar, Ashtanga and Hatha yoga. I teach all ages and abilities: men, women, beginners, advanced. Classes in and around Rye, Camber & Ashford in several different venues and on the beach. Improvement comes through enjoyment; adjusting postures to suit age, fitness & flexibility, and always aiming to progress in energ

Happy Birthday to my departed soulmate Michel, this Leap Year four years on 🪐🌗💫Random pictures, a 35 year journey together through bands and music, yoga and a beautiful family life. For those of you who could not make the recent screenings of the very moving film Will and Testament, for which Michel composed the incredible soundtrack, here’s a link to watch it. Mich would request that you have the volume up full! In memory of his life and work. For those who came, thank you so much: it meant everything to me to have 180 people turn up to Kino Rye to share and watch with me and our boys 🙏❤️ .. just amazing 💫 This film is a testament to integrity in life/politics (regardless of political standpoint), now so absent; and Mich’s music is sublime. About Me
I have practiced yoga for over 25 years, studying, attending & teaching classes in Vinyasa/Ashtanga, Iyengar, Hatha & Sivananda yoga several times a week in London and now in Rye.
I teach all ages and abilities: men, women, beginners or experienced. My classes incorporate elements of flow Vinyasa and routines of Sivanada, with the precision and accuracy of Iyengar - so I can correct and modify postures to suit the participant's age and level of fitness and flexibility; always aiming for progress and focus in mind and body, and uplift of the spirit. In addition to the postures, classes also incorporate breathing and relaxation techniques.
Throughout the warmer months of the year - usually from April to the end of October - I also run regular uplifting beach yoga classes at Camber Sands, mostly early morning.

I also offer yoga tuition on a one to one basis, for small private groups, and day courses/workshops.
I also regularly update my knowledge with new studies in a broad range of specific yoga topics with the British School of Yoga.
I firmly believe that Yoga is for Everyone, and that there is no-one who can't benefit, each in their individual way, from the incredible advancement and enlightenment in Mind, Body & Spirit that Yoga will bring.
