Well this made my day yesterday: receiving this lovely review and set of photos from this gorgeous project completed in St Albans before Christmas. There are so many pretty features to this design including fluted glass dressers, curved oak island ends, open shelving and an X-shaped wine rack. But above all I think it’s the colour that stands out most for me: hand-painted by our decorator in Three Farm Green by Little Greene and complemented by those simple brass handles. We also completed the utility and cloakroom storage on this project which was another dream team collaboration with the super talented and professional .uk and 🙌🏻 Thanking these wonderful clients for their kind words and wishing them many happy times in their stunning new home! 🏠 🍾 💫

Before we downed tools for Christmas (returning 2nd Jan), I had the pleasure of re-visiting a multi-room project completed earlier this year in St Albans.
This was a complete new build, designed entirely to the clients’ specifications. We worked with them from the very early stages to design all of the fitted furniture in their home - kitchen, utility, bootroom, hallway, living room, playroom, and wardrobes in all 5 bedrooms- entirely to their requirements and in keeping with their overall scheme.
They were an absolute dream to work with, and they have created an absolutely stunning home.
We’re so proud to have been a part of their new build journey, to have helped them achieve their vision and to see the gorgeous end results. Extra gorgeous with all the Christmas sparkle!

Stunning hallway furniture completed today in St Albans. The Ascot Shaker door with quarter round beading looks so smart, the top boxes optimising storage and filling the space perfectly. The doors were custom sprayed in an F&B colour match to blend perfectly with the front door. A mixture of internal drawers, shelving, hanging and hooks ensure all contents can be neatly stored and organised. Many thanks to our lovely client for her feedback too, Christmas has come early!

Our modern Shaker door, the Aldana, sits alongside a number of special features, including the increasingly popular fluted glass dresser, tongue and groove panelling on the island and bench seating, a bespoke handmade canopy hood & moulding, and a stunning X-shaped wine rack. Gorgeous colour choices from too, with the island custom sprayed in new F&B colour, Sardine.
Absolute pleasure working with this lovely family who made the whole process super fun from beginning to end. Huge thanks for the lovely feedback too! Wishing them many happy years ahead in their fabulous new home 🏠.

Bit of a different project for us this week: kitting out the commercial kitchen and bar area for a local tennis club. The curved bar area is decked out in a beautiful fluted wood design, with sleek slab doors in a marine blue, and a concrete effect worktop and bench seating. Any of these styles could be applied to a residential project. We hope you’ll agree the end result looks stunning 👌

This mock in-frame door is proving very popular with clients who want the look of an in-frame but without the extra cost.
The Gun Metal Grey island is a gorgeous deep teal / charcoal colour and complimented perfectly by the Light Grey. Open shelving adds warmth and ensures every day items are easily accessible. It was an absolute pleasure working with this family and seeing the beautiful end result ⭐️

Launched at the end of last year, the Winslow is fast becoming one of the most popular door styles for our clients.

This in-frame effect door gives the look of a true in-frame but without the premium price tag.

The outer frame and inner door open as one while a subtle woodgrain finish and beading adds character, looking every inch the classic in-frame.

Another set of wardrobes fitted as part of a multi-room project in St Albans.

After supplying the kitchen and utility for this lovely family last year, we recently returned to complete their dressing area too.

The natural light, ample storage and neutral colour scheme create a calm and serene space to enjoy getting ready in every day.

We are loving the new Winslow range from shown here in Taupe Grey and Willow. This design gives the look of a luxury in frame kitchen without the premium costs.

Before we go on our break we wanted to share pictures of this super pretty project in progress. Just the canopy left to be painted! The Ellesmere mock in-frame in Slate Blue mixes beautifully with the custom sprayed island; the super slim ceramic worktops match perfectly with the fluted white wall tiles; and the open shelving is stylishly decorated. All set for the big day! Happy holidays to you all! 🎄

We just love what our wonderful clients have done with this room. Maximising storage and creating a light and airy space was crucial for this busy young family. Open shelving and a c-shaped main run allowed natural light to run through the room, while a bank of tall units and appliances opposite ensured they had the storage solutions they needed. Slab doors with wooden handrails are the perfect backdrop to the stylish lighting, potted plants and pops of colour. We loved working with this gang - thanks for the lovely feedback and here’s to many happy times in your gorgeous new home!

It’s an absolute pleasure to be working with the marvellous again, this time on this upcoming kitchen & utility project.

Super cool slatted wood doors mix with neutral slabs in the kitchen. Modern shaker doors sprayed an off black add drama to the utility space.

The soft black and off-white colours will be custom sprayed in eco-friendly paints from Coat. While the slatted wood doors and panelling will add warmth and texture to the scheme.

Can’t wait for this one to come to life! ⭐️

It’s always so enjoyable getting to know our clients during the design process, which can take anything from 2-3 months to over a year depending on the length of the overall renovation.

We’re well used to working with clients in the very early stages of their building projects, helping them to lay out the space and figure out budgets.

It gives us time to really understand what our clients are looking for from their design; exploring colour options and styles, how they will truly use their new space and the storage solutions that will make their lives easier ⭐️

Here’s another of our exciting projects undertaken with the super talented . This stunning mid-century inspired project started Friday and continues next week. Custom oak veneered slab doors in the kitchen, stained with a mahogany lacquer and complete with bar area.
Pretty peach tones in the utility room with custom sprayed doors and dedicated shoe storage. Can’t wait to see this beauty come to life.

We’re really excited to be working with super talented local interior designer on some upcoming projects.

In the pipeline is this classic in-frame Shaker design combining beautiful navy blue and coral pink tones, with brass hardware and calacutta worktops.

The kitchen features bifolding dressers either end of the back run, as a breakfast pantry and drinks cabinet complete with mirrored backsplash. The tall run features a larder dedicated to spice and oils as well as a hidden entrance to the utility room behind.

The pretty utility will come complete with useful broom cupboard and sink, as well as feature tongue and groove panelling behind the sink area.

Can’t wait to see this one come together!

I thought it was high time I put our wonderful workshop in the spotlight.

Based on a farm just outside St Albans, THIS is where the magic happens.

All of our orders fulfilled, measured, cut and built, ready for delivery and installation.

All in the safe hands of our super experienced carpenters, Ed and John, and our new apprentice, Nicole, all of whom have an incredible eye for detail.

We always encourage our clients to arrange a visit during the design process to view samples and swatches, to see real life projects in progress and really get a feel for how we work.

Double ovens underneath the hob means all cooking appliances are next to each other.

A full height larder beside the integrated fridge freezer means all food items are in one place.

The peninsula acts as a break between the kitchen and dining space, as well as a useful plating up area.

Finally, special features such as the drinks dresser, open shelving and led lighting add warmth and personality.
