🤰 Being a midwife is a very niche role and a lot of people think we deal with babies all day!!!

👶 nope! Our main role is to support and empower women and their families, be an advocate, be a fountain of knowledge to empower women and their families to make decisions around their bodies and their babies!

💪 I have been a midwife for nearly 11 years now, which I can’t quite believe! I absolutely love my job, despite how tiring and intense it can be, but having a family of my own means I have cut back my hours to be more present for my own family.

👧🏽 what makes this day even more special for me, is that it’s also my daughters birthday! A little trip to Alton towers to celebrate 🎉 Happy 6th Birthday to my special little girl!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Lucky to have grown up here and now as an adult, be able to bring my children here!

🌊What I will say though is the sea is not as blue as all the Maldives holiday pics I’ve been seeing lately and it’s definitely not as hot! 😭

Why do smile lines (crows feet) appear?

As we get older our skin becomes drier due to a number of causes such as hormones, breakdown of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid!

We also use these muscles repeatedly every day and so over time wrinkles and lines appear.

Skincare and eye creams can help to an extent (especially using spf every day!) but it’s best to use a multi - targeted approach to really see results!

This lovely client had very strong muscles which had contributed to her deep smile lines. After one treatment you can really see results!
