Bambi and Bear Childcare

Our busy bakers have made some delicious cookies this morning 😋 🍪 ✨

This week all of the children have had an opportunity to visit the lovely Mitchell Fruit Garden! They have loved walking through the sunflower field and picking (as said by a little one) “the biggest, juiciest strawberries!”🍓🌻✨

Today we had the whole park to ourselves 😁✨

The weather this morning inspired autumnal paintings…🍂

“Please can we play with the animals and the cereals and the grass in the tray today?” ☺️✨

Autumn was definitely in the air on the beach today!✨

We are absolutely loving this ladybird mini tray this morning!!🐞✨

We have absolutely loved finding autumn leaves this afternoon🍂✨

These boxes have kept us busy ALL afternoon!! We’ve been parcel delivery people, astronauts, fashion designers, shopkeepers, we’ve enjoyed filling and emptying…the possibilities have been endless!✨

Primary school applications are now available for those who will require a placement in 2025✨

School applications now open for September 2025 starters Parents and carers in Cornwall can now apply for school places if their children are starting primary school or moving up to secondary school in September 2025.  

A little filling and emptying tray for this afternoon (I have been lucky enough to have been given lots of play coffees and ice cream ☺️)✨

Today we’ve been perfecting our fine motor and colour sorting skills to sort the dinosaurs in the water tray!✨

This afternoon we have loved going out for a walk and picking blackberries!✨

How very lucky our dog, Obi, is that when asked “What would you like to do today?” Very often, the children reply “Please can we take Obi for a walk?”☺️✨

This afternoon we’re looking closely at bugs, working together to make a number line and building towers in the garden!🪲✨

The best part of being a childminder is being able to play such an important role in your child’s early years. The most difficult part is when they move on to new adventures! Today we wish a big ‘good luck’ and ‘goodbye’ to the very first ever little one to join Bambi and Bear Childcare as she moves on to Primary School💕✨

Today we are loving bathing and taking care of our baby dolls 🥰✨

We have had the most wonderful morning at the boating lake☺️🦆🌸✨

Another rainy afternoon so we decided to go to soft play!✨

A busy day today! First the older children gave a music lesson with their ukulele and guitar. Then, we took a trip to the shops where I asked the children to choose plants and activities that they would like for us all to enjoy. Then we came back to an afternoon in the garden with bubble rockets! 🫧✨
