What another fantastic visit to Beech Lodge Residental Home this morning.
The children were very excited to put on their high vis jackets ready for an adventure.
They walked amazingly well, holding hands, looking left and right and listening for cars ๐
When we arrived we were greeted with so many smiles and happy faces ๐
The children had so much fun playing with all the lovely games that were waiting for us ๐งฉ
The children enjoyed talking to the residents and asking their names, they also very much enjoyed all the lovely cuddles that were in offer ๐ซ
๐บOn the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th Month - We remember ๐บ
This week is anti bullying week! We are inviting all children and staff members to wear odd socks on Tuesday 12th November as part of anti-bullying week and to celebrate what makes us unique.
*Keeping odd socks day inclusive*
There are many reasons children may find it challenging to attend wearing odd socks. This may be due to sensory processing difficulties, or finding changes in clothing challenging. There are many ways we can overcome this so all can be involved, for example:
-You can wear odd socks in a different way! Why not pin a pair of odd socks to your t-shirt or jumper, tie them together to make a bracelet and wear around your wrist, tie them around your ponytail (like a scrunchie!)?
-Make an odd socks display, draw or colour a picture of odd socks or bring a teddy or doll wearing odd socks.
-Prepare children for odd socks day. Let them know in advance and involve them in picking our their favourite socks and finding the perfect pair of odd socks!
If you have a child who finds the concept of odd socks challenging but would still like to participate with odd socks day, please do not hesitate to contact me for any more ideas!
We will be implementing a range of activities from the anti-bullying allowance to help us to celebrate our differences, choose respect and promote kindness throughout the week.

We wish the Turbos all the best this season โฝ๏ธ
๐๐ This afternoon the babies wrapped up warm and went out for a woodland walk.
We listened for birds tweeting, leaves crunching and even a train choo-choo ๐ ๐๐
The children really enjoyed moving through the leaves listening to the sounds they made as they made their way though.
The children were very excited to spot 3 dogs during our walk, we all waved to say hello ๐
The best part about Autumn is...all the crunchy leaves ๐
We would like to say a big thankyou to Beech Lodge Residental Home for inviting us to come for a visit.
The babies wrapped up warm and enjoyed the freah air on their walk to see the residents.
We were welcomed with big smiles and waves.
The babies loved playing with a selection of toys, singing and dancing.
We very much look forward to our next visit.
Did you know our local library offer free stay and play sessions? ๐
What a fantastic Halloween ๐ at Bright Eyes.
We have been busy, pumpkin carving ๐ ghost hunting ๐ป party food eating ๐ง and spooky dancing ๐
Happy Halloween from the staff at Bright Eyes in the Town ๐๐๐ค
What a busy week the children have had from; making potions โ๏ธ and exploring our new water channeling system. To investigating the mud and the leaves๐, we've been checking which bugs are staying in our bug hotel ๐, and by the looks of it we've had some visitors.
๐๐ Stay safe this firework season ๐๐

Hi St. Austell Community, โค๏ธ
Itโs Natalie here, owner of Rockyโs, and I want to share something close to my heart. As a mother of five, I know firsthand how tough it can be to make ends meet, especially during school holidays. Finding things to do with your kids while managing costs can be a real challenge. Thatโs why Iโve decided to offer FREE KIDS MEALS throughout half-termโno strings attached, and no need to purchase an adult meal!๐
After the amazing response to our previous offer of โfree kids meals with any adult meal,โ Iโm excited to take it even further and announce something different: Kids eat for free, no adult meal required.๐คฉ
This offer is available to all children aged 12 and under, from a special set childrenโs menu weโve put together. I understand the pressures many parents are facing with the current economic pinch, and I hope this small gesture will help ease the burden. Family means everything to me, and I know itโs the same for many of you. We all want to spend quality time with our kids without worrying about the cost, and this is my way of giving back to the community thatโs supported Rockyโs so much during our first year of business. โค๏ธ
So bring your little ones in, let them enjoy a meal for free from our set menu, and know that Rockyโs is here to help make family time a little more affordable.๐ซถ
The only day not included in this offer is our Childrenโs Halloween event.๐
From my family to yours, thank you for being part of our Rockyโs family.๐
With love and gratitude,
Natalie โค๏ธ
