🔥WALNUT, OAK & FIRE🔥

English Walnut table top with custom made legs and a Oak support, scorched and suspended in clear resin to make it look as though it’s floating!

This has to be our favourite project so far, not only because of the epic piece of English Walnut but having free reign to put our own twist on the supporting beam. Super happy with the final results and safe to say one very happy customer!

A big thanks to James Ridgley@cornwallcarpentryfabrication for fabricating the legs to suit the top perfectly! 🙌🙌🙌

XL Oak mirror

Our best mirror so far!

The natural void in this Oak caught our attention straight away and we knew it would make an amazing mirror!

It’s also our biggest to date at 1620x950 and 40mm thick. I felt a bit sorry for holding it up whilst I took some pics 😂 but one of us has to do the important jobs!

Walnut vanity

As far as interior design goes, I’d say our Walnut vanity was the perfect choice for the room decor.

Made to measure from a simple sketch, we picked the best part of the plank to really show off the live edge and create a natural look.

A big thanks to for the opportunity to create something beautiful for her clients home.

This particular piece was delivered to Essex all the way from us down by the Cornish coast.

Our next project is a dining table made from this huge single slab of English walnut.

I think you’ll agree it’s a bit of a monster! 😆🥳

Can we make a vanity top to exact measurements? Of course we can! After a brief discussion the customer went with Walnut to match the bathroom decor.

We’ve just finished this large Pippy Oak mirror and it’s up for sale!

Measuring in at 1500x900x45 it’s quite the mirror!

Very lucky to have such a beautiful setting to showcase our work beautiful home! The oak mirror, acacia table and walnut chopping board all made by us. Really nice to see everything together.

Mappa Burr coffee table
With custom made spider legs

As far as coffee tables go, this is gonna be tough to beat! An amazing piece of timber full of ripples and character. Just look at that live edge!

We’ve filled the deeper voids with clear resin to keep the top itself flat and easy to maintain and filled every smaller hole with black wax so it’s nice to look at and functional.

Also custom made legs, made to suit the table perfectly (you won’t see any hair pin legs here! )

Our aim from the beginning was to create one off tables with legs that complimented the table not took away from it, and we’re nailing it!

We love making mirrors!

These are both Pippy oak, full of character and nice and chunky at around 45mm thick.

The smaller one once assembled will be 900x650 and is off to .cornwall .Made specifically to their measurements to suit their home perfectly.

The larger mirror will be 1500x900 and will be available to buy once completed!

We only use the best mirrors we can get, we want every part to be perfect. Although you won’t see much of the mirror from the side, some will be visible so we buy mirrors with bevelled and polished edges so it looks flawless. Just a few days now waiting for the to dry and these will be completed.

130 trees planted so far!

Regardless of sales we’ve planted every month from the very beginning!

We’re only a small team, but good to know we’re making a positive impact!

We’ve got some huge cookies in stock that will make amazing tables(phone for scale) we’ve had these tucked away drying for two years. The tree was cut down in Lelant years ago and we were lucky enough to get hold of part of it. Roughly around 80 years old by counting the rings.

We’re going to use resin and bow ties to stabilise the cracks and fabricate the legs to suit.

Looking forward to finishing the first one to see how amazing it will look once oiled

We have 9 available, potentially a big coffee table, a 4 person dining table or maybe in a restaurant or cafe.

Also toying with the idea of making the legs adjustable from coffee table height up to dining table so it can be used for both.

Walnut chopping board

Walnut has got to be one of my favourites along with olive when it comes to chopping boards. This particular board has a lovely bit of sap wood making it really dark, it would certainly stand out against a lighter worktop.

Yew and resin coffee table with custom made offset spider legs

Firstly, a big shoutout to for creating the offset spider legs, it was quite an irregular shape so having the right legs was hugely important to us.

We decided to keep the resin to a minimum so the timber itself would take centre stage.

We created a mould that followed the natural shape of the timber making it completely unique and really interesting to look at.

Our aim was to make something completely one off and with the shape of the timber and custom made legs it came together beautifully.
