**Falmouth 5-12 St Ives!** 🐟🐟

The Hakes kicked off their first season match with a bang, securing a solid win against Falmouth! 💪 We showed our depth by using no less than 22 players, and every debutant rose to the occasion.

Our props, Jenkins and Curnow, both making their debuts, were outstanding—keeping the scrum solid and making those hard yards. Jack Keogh nailed 1 of 2 conversions from the touchline, while Morgan Harvey was unstoppable, powering through the Falmouth defense. Alfie Brown and Matty Turton were elusive in their counter-attacks, constantly keeping Falmouth on their toes.

Shoutout to Adam Harris, who scored both of our tries—one from a scrum against the head and another with a sneaky finish at the corner after a turnover at a ruck! 🔥

The back row trio of Stevens, Scanlon, and Lucas put on a defensive masterclass, being a constant thorn in Falmouth’s side all day. 👏

It was great to see last year’s colts come off the bench and make an impact, especially Ethan Redondo-Barter, who was everywhere in the back row, putting in a huge shift with his tackles! 💥

And let’s not forget the veteran presence of Clackworthy off the bench, bringing experience, keeping the scrum solid, and making crucial yards in attack.
