Keen2fix has now broken up for the summer and I’ll be taking a well earned summer holiday break. I’ll be away for a fortnight and I already have jobs booked until the end of August.

Some home improvements in an under stairs room, soon to be a toilet room. Damaged flooring replaced, plasterboard added around new sink pipework and skirting board fitted to accommodate new pipes.

I'm away on a family break this week, so I'll get back to any requests for jobs next Monday 👍

Adding some 18mm Plywood to an old plaster and lath wall. This was to allow Jake Preston - Preston’s Plumbing Services - to fix new radiator brackets, safely inside the bay window.

Working with local plumber Jake Preston - Preston’s Plumbing Services - to fix some tiles around a new pipe install. He's now fitting a new shower over the bath.

Turning a pile of delivered wood into a garden shed. I made sure the base was level and placed it on some treated timber battens to allow airflow under the floor.

After a prolonged absence with the fractured arm, I'm happy to say I'm back to work.

The arm is still painful, so I'm not undertaking any heavy lifting (e.g. fence panel replacement) or repetitive movement (e.g. painting large areas).

Apologies for any delays to jobs recently. A fractured elbow has left me out of action for a few weeks. I should be back in action by the middle of March, so I'll be catching up with any customers who kindly waited for me to 'fix' ❤️

Another double plasterboard patch after a visit from Preston’s Plumbing Services. Plasterboard, taped and plaster fix and painted to complete the kitchen ceiling.

A plasterboard fix to cover a hole created by local plumber Preston’s Plumbing Services to fix a leak in a bathroom above. Plasterboard and tape fix with plaster and paint finish.

A quick turnaround to fit some wall cabinets in a lounge to fit in with some tight timescales.

A bespoke parcel storage box made to fit it a front porch for one of my Superhero pals.

New security gate lock (key access on both sides) and a large roller blind fitted in a living room this week.

New one for me - fitting 1m x 1m living wall garden panels. I fitted new fence panels (including raising an old panel so it could be reused) and then attached the living wall with fence attachments and cable ties.

Fence panel painting to help prolong the life of the panels and to bring some colour to a patio area.

Weeding, grass removal, jetwashing and resanding a driveway, path and garden patio area.

Some shower cubicle improvements with replacement grout and silicone to smarten up a bathroom.

A bit of shed removal and rebuild across the other side of the garden. Heavy work but luckily I had some help with the roof.

A quick clean up and fix of a damaged gutter joint in Sale to stop an annoying water drip over a front door.

5 new fence panels supplied and fitted in a local back garden. One of the panels needed reducing in width to fit.

Water pipes in a bedroom boxed in.

Rotting timber shed door repaired and strengthened, undercoated and glossed. Outdoor mirror hung on wall.

Bedroom Decorating - ceiling painted, yellow paint + Pink Princess wallpaper changed to Duck Egg Blue and Cream painted walls. Skirting boards and architrave sanded, undercoated and glossed.
