Bonfire Night fun at After School Club today 😁

💛 World Mental Health Day 2024 saw our after school clubbers chatting with one another whilst creating stress balls using balloons and rice.....💛

The After-School children created some wonderful art work to add to our Heritage Day Display 😍⛪

We were asked to create a display for Heritage Day by Reverend Becky and our friends at St. Paul's Church 🥰 The children painted wonderful canvases, made stained glass windows and spoke of the things they knew about the Church 😊 So, pop in for a visit or book a free Tower Tour tomorrow on Saturday 14th Sept 11am-4pm xx

💚 As part of Mental Health Awareness Week After School use 'breathing beads' to bring calm after their busy day. A breathing wand is a self-care tool that promotes children’s emotional well-being by teaching them breathing techniques, positive affirmations and mindfulness. Children can use it in situations when they need to calm down and find peace within and it can even become part of their day to day routines too.

Being in touch with one’s emotions is an important skill set that helps us manage stress, control impulses, and overcome obstacles as we grow older 💚

'Back to School' pencil cases created with Cat today, as the children expressed their wonderful creativity on fabric...

So, BBQ weather has returned today and we welcomed the sun back with some Summer Sweet Kebab making......🌞💚🧡💛❤️🩷🌞

Some 'fiddly fingers' required for today's activity as the children spend time designing their own personalised 'beady bag pendants' with Cat 😊

Kids Rock club Sale
are looking for new Early
Years Practitioner and play worker for the following roles:

ASC/holiday club play worker @ St Paul’s
16 hours per week 2.45 - 6pm (5pm Fridays)

Early Years Practitioner cover @ St Paul’s 11.30am - 6pm (5pm Fridays)
4/5 days a week to cover mat leave and reduced to 3 full days Sep 2023 ideal times but can negotiate hours with a mixture of different start and finishing times.

Special Requirements:
• Level 1/2/3 or above to join our highly skilled team
• loves working with children is a must and helping them develop new skills and experiences
• has knowledge of the EYFS and experience working in a childcare sector.
• Hard working, uses their initiative, enthusiastic & Fun

Kids Rock Club have a very skilled caring fun team and these roles have become available to cover a maternity period - with a job share role at the end. And we want to take on a new play worker to join are team.

Rate of pay depending on age and experience
£8.00 - £10.50+
