Asalamu Alaikum

The blessed month of Rabi al-Awwal has arrived and whether you believe this month to be significant or not, every believer agrees that the birth of Muhammad ﷺ, the final Messenger of God is the most significant event that has happened in the history of Mankind.

He ﷺ alone was permitted to go beyond the furthest boundary, where time and space were suspended during his ﷺ meeting with Allah. Not a single thing in creation was given such a luminous invite and lofty degree.

He ﷺ is the beloved of Allah, the beloved of the angels and the beloved of all believing men and women.

He ﷺ is the one whom Allah praises, the angels praise and all believing men and women praise.

*From the Qur’an*
Indeed, Allah and His angels send salutations upon the Prophet, O you who have believed send salutations and confer blessings upon him abundantly.
Surah Ahzāb 33:56

*From the Sunnah*
Anas and Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with both of them, reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: "None of you will attain perfect faith until I am more beloved to him than his child, his parent, and all people.”
al-Bukhari

*From the sayings of the salaf (the Righteous Predecessors).*

Ali ibn Abu Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, was asked, “To what extent did you love the Prophet?’ Ali replied, “By Allah, we loved him more than our money, wealth, fathers, mothers and cold water when one is thirsty”
Ash-Shifaa by Īyad.

We send abundant salutations and peace upon upon the prophet ﷺ this month of Rabi’ al-Awwal, and every month, and every moment, and with every blink of the eye - O Allah bear witness and grant us sincerity in our words.

May the deepest part of our souls awaken and bask in his ﷺ light. A light which guides, purifies and heals.

May we walk upon the sirāt al-Mustaqīm, the Muhamadan Path, that which leads to the highest realms of Firdous and Love of the Divine.

May we immerse ourselves in his ﷺ ocean, the sea of his ﷺ Sunnah, and may our very core become drenched with the Muhammadan way.

Allah you bare witness to our needs, through the Barakah of this blessed month and all that is beloved to you, accept our supplications, overlook our faults, strengthen our resolve, put order into our disarray, and place Mercy and forgiveness between the hearts of the believers. Ameen
Alhamdullah for the breeze and rain!
