Only 2 days to go until Hypersea play a brand new music commission here in response to our Hybrid Futures exhibition as part of Fat Out!

Hypersea will explore fluidity, interconnectivity and notions of collectivity as inspired by Shezad Dawood’s artwork Leviathan: From the Forest to the Sea. Set in the context of our Hybrid Futures exhibition space, this performance will debut on the night after being developed during a week-long Samarbeta Residency, in collaboration with London-based blenders of experimental sound, art and tech, IKLECTIK.

Discover how we grow our own fruit and manage our orchard organically. Our Head Gardener Jo will be hosting two free tours of our orchard, each lasting half an hour. Please meet at the reception desk inside the Hall. Dress for the weather as come rain or shine we will be outside!

Sat 24 August: 'The 12th annual Eccles Festival' hosted by Eccles RFC

Eccles RFC has been a champion of homegrown talent since 1897 (over 127 years!) - alongside live music from local performers, beers from local breweries and food from community vendors there will be a Men's rugby tournament where you're sure to see some of Lancashire's finest athletes battling it out for the chance to lift the Eccles Cup and raise funds for charity. 🏆

Eccles Festival is a community event and everyone is welcome. 🏉 🙂

Queens, the major new exhibition inspired by SIX The Musical opens this weekend at The Lowry. It will run in the Galleries from Saturday 20 July to Sunday 3 November 2024.

The free exhibition – curated by The Lowry – is the first of its kind and is produced with the support of SIX and its creators Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss.
