Learn to Run with Firststeps Running

Thinking of taking up running to get fitter, healthier or lose weight? or just started running and are picking up niggles or injuries?
Maybe you have been running for some time and believe it’s time to learn how to become a more accomplished runner with improved technique.
First Steps Running, based in Sandhurst, Berkshire, UK, will guide you through the fundamentals of running.
You’ll learn about your posture; how you should run; build your strength; increasing flexibility and stretching; and so much more.
There’s lots to consider, so the information will be split into two sessions of one and a half hours each.
Each session is a 1-2-1 session with an experienced Running Coach. Initially, you’ll have your POSTURE, FLEXIBILITY and STRENGTH assessed.
These assessments will highlight any potential injuries you may be prone to and will allow you to minimise the likelihood of these. Your running technique will be filmed, analysed and discussed with your Coach.
This will help improve your style and reduce potential problems.
You will be shown to how to STRETCH correctly and given stretches specific to you, based on your flexibility and personal needs.

At long last things are looking like i will be able to start work back on April 12th.
As previous lock-downs i will be in full ppe, i will be taking clients temperatures outside before coming into the treatment room.

So if you are stiff, injured or just need to have a relaxing massage, then i am taking bookings for the 12th April onwards.
Hopefully i will be able to resume my Pilates classes, as soon as St Michael's is open.
