Happy Valentine’s Day

Another jet washing job done. Customer was really happy with the end result. Really clean and no longer slippy to walk on.

Really happy to jet wash a customers patio area and paths recently. It’s amazing what a difference it makes. Please get in touch if you need me for jet washing, garden tidy, tree pruning, etc. Always work to do in the garden before the main grass cutting season starts.

Hi, my name is Bev and I am delighted to announce that I am the new owner of The Lady Gardener. I will be offering the same professional gardening service as Mary and I am really looking forward to meeting all existing and new customers soon. I’d like to wish Mary all the very best of luck for the future.

Today was a good day for winter prep and tidy ups before we leave the gardens to sleep for a couple of months.

Finally! A break in the rain for a couple of hours. It meant I was able to get to a couple of clients and trim.back some shrubs and get some plants in ready for next year.
I'll be closing my diary for winter until late Feb/early March in a couple of weeks. Obviously if anyone needs anything during this time, give me a call.

Some may know, I have recently been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. This is an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks the healthy cells in your body by mistake, mainly the joints. As a new gardening business this couldnt have come at a worse time. The pain has been horrendous, resulting in sleepless nights and tearful outbursts.
I came across whilst at Malton food festival and after speaking to the lady decided I would give thw Ginger and Turmeric a try.
I was sceptical but I can say that after about 10 days I noticed a difference. Don't get me wrong, the pain is still there and it's not a cure by any means, but the stiffness has eased. Taking one shot daily has made a big difference.

If this is something you suffer with, I'd definitely give this stuff a try.
