Couple of repairs done for a customer today.. complaint the door was very draughty, no surprise with that gap!!! 🥶 🌬️ and a failed hinge replaced.

Something a bit different.. This was for a long standing customer who had recently moved home. They had brought a stained glass with them that had sentimental values and asked if we could put it in the front door… a little design work, the use of knowledge and our super suppliers and hay presto it’s done. The stain is encapsulated in the glass unit yorktradewindows

This morning we sent Pete off towards York to do a door repair after we’d had a message saying they’d been told it would be £500 to repair their door and I’d assured them it wouldn’t! As you can see, Pete managed to work his magic and repair the door for a fraction of the cost of their original quote. Receiving messages like this make it all worthwhile!

And today we’ve been up up up!! The old timber fascia’s and soffits replaced with maintenance free upvc, removed the old rotten roofing felt and replaced for modern breathable felt that helps air flow. We also fitted eaves guards which stop the felt dropping behind the soffits which can cause water to get in. It also has continuous air vents which stops condensation from getting in the roof space. And finally it has bird comes which stops the naughty birds getting in and making a mess. The job was finished of with terracotta verge covers and black guttering. ☀️

As you can see, when Anna isn't busy providing top-notch window and door repair and installation services, she pretty much spends all her free time riding! 🤣

Anna is an accomplished equestrian, competing at the National level in both British Eventing and British Dressage. She has qualified for National championships at every level she has competed in, showcasing her dedication and skill. One of her proudest achievements is securing 10th place at the prestigious Badminton Grassroots!🤩

But Anna's love for animals doesn't stop at horses. She also enjoys long walks with her beloved dog, Stanley, who is always up for an adventure. Recently, Anna has taken a new step in her equestrian journey by purchasing a foal named Hope. She has high hopes (pun intended!) that Hope will become a future star in the equestrian world. 🙏🤞🤣
