Welcome to our page, The Smiths Holiday Caravan
This is our privately owned 8 berth, animal friendly caravan for hire We love it here and hope you will too.
The caravan is on an established caravan park run by Parkdean Holidays and has a beautiful dog friendly walks and a beach which runs across the front of the caravan park.
The caravan park is on Mill Lane, Cayton Bay (Parkdean), North Yorkshire, YO11 3NJ

4 miles to Filey
17 miles to Whitby

Check in at 1pm check out 11am or before if preferred
Bedding will be supplied for the amount of guests stated.
Guests are required to bring their own towels.
The caravan is not double glazed and has electric heating.
There are 3 bedrooms.
One has a double bed.
Two have 2 single beds
There is a double pull out bed in the side sofa unit in the living room area.
The bathroom has a shower unit and sink
Toilet is separate with sink

The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker and hob There is also a microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge / freezer

There is onsite *entertainment programme (more frequent in school holidays) as well as an on-site shop, chip shop, laundrette, bars and restaurant, play area (closed at present} , foot golf, crazy golf, bungee ride for kids, peddle cars.
*please note : If you wish to use the onsite pool and enjoy the evening entertainment, you will need to pop to reception to get a pass for the time you’re on site. These are circa £50 per caravan for a weeks stay.
The site and beach are dog friendly.

The village of Cayton is a 10 min walk away and has 2 nice pubs which also serve food. There is also a pub directly outside the entrance to the caravan park so lots of choice for places to go for a drink / food.
As well as all the facilities on site there is also the amazing Cleveland Way which skirts along the dramatic North Yorkshire coastline and which is a staggering 109 mile long. You can walk on it from Cayton Bay to Filey or Scarborough or if you’re a hardened walker you can do much more. Which has fabulous views, castles, ancient stone crosses and fishing villages tucked into tiny coves.

Schools Out!! And the weather is hotting up. This is a great bit of advice.

Be very careful when you go to the beach. Before you go in, watch the sea. If you see a space between the waves, do not enter. It's a riptide, and you will be pulled back in. Please tell your family and friends. This can save lives. If you see anyone in danger ring 999 and ask for COASTGUARD!
