Well here's what's kept us busy over the last 7 days ! Job came in needed to be done for Christmas and with some early starts and late nights we've made it happen!!! 2 100x60ft cattle sheds with a 20ft feed passage.
Arrived on site Saturday morning and pulling away tomorrow morning once expansion joints are cut in the last pour !!

Been a long while since I last posted so here's a few bits of what we've been keeping busy with !

Here's the bases all set out , dug and poured for a new machinery shed at Hornsea for a local steel erector

A small lean to concrete out for a garden machinery storage area up at High Oaks Grange .

Here's a few from a recently completed job up at Low Mowthorpe. A new shed for the sprayer to fill up in , used k forms for the 1st time so we could achieve all the correct falls for the floor spec, and still pour in 1 .

This is what kept us occupied the last couple of weeks !!! Couple of little workshop floors with a powerfloat finish ....

Jesus!!!! Been a busy couple of months or so here at oldroyd construction getting ready for harvest and yards ready for pigs coming In and out weather has been too warm for most things never mind concreting !!!! But we've got there!!!!!!

Been very busy since last time we posted and haven't managed to get many photos as I always forget but here's just a few bit of what we've been upto at various places , keeping us all out of mischief !!!!!

Here's a little job completed at Heslerton dug out over 400tons levelled up ,shuttered up and poured in just 2 days !! Managed to miss the rain aswell which is always a bonus, 14.4m3 of c40 concrete with fibres to make a good solid base ready for the 200tons of fertiliser and tanks to sit on !!!!

Well here's a few more of the ongoing work up at Danebury Manor that's a wrap now till after Christmas for this particular job . But it certainly is starting to look transformed !!!

So here we are again uo at Danebury Manor Farm making another start on some more yard finished the steel channels off down to another gulley all piped to a large soakaway for surface water . And the first pour done Monday just avoiding the showers !!! A good strong c40 with reinforcing laid in the yard to take all the heavy farm traffic . The lads at Breedon Scarborough been prompt and on time as usual .

Here's what been keeping us all out of mischief these past few weeks a pig shed and yard and an area done for some rainwater harvesting tanks also squeezed in another yard and small shed but forgot to take the photos again !!!! All jobs prepped and got ready by us and concreted out , there's been some fair days !!!!

Well after a few weeks waiting the ride ons have arrived back with a full bill of health from multiquip UK!!! They still look like dogs but running as sweet as a nut , also a new addition to the fleet by the way of a shiny new 36inch walk behind again supplied by multiquip UK. Flying the whiteman USA flag here at Oldroyd Construction . Shouldn't struggle to keep up now !!!!!!

Started the prep of a fresh shed today down in Sherburn hopefully have it ready Monday ready to concrete next Saturday.

Well another busy week or so here at Oldroyd Construction an agricultural yard with a cast concrete catch pit installed for the customer. Concrete laid in baking hot weather so laid , troweled , brushed and sheeted down to keep her right !!! On to the next one we go. Big shout out to my old man for giving me a hand on Friday straight off the back of a night shift ....... hero

We even found some time to squeeze in a couple of little bits too !!!!!

Here's whats been keeping us out of mischief for the last 3 weeks. A real transformation down the road for Sandra . Weather has kept right and the job progressed very well . All in all a total of 310m of roadway and drive area including 2 turning/parking areas. Shuttered up stoned up concreted !!!! BOOM !!!!!

Here's one from a couple of weeks ago to be a pig shed floor completed over 2 days . With a smooth powerfloat finish .

A very busy last 2 weeks up at Danebury Manor shed finally finished off and shining and the yard caught up and finished outside also found time to dig some post holes aswell !!!!

Another busy week up at Danbury floor all prepped and shuttered up poured on Saturday.... also got a feed passage concreted out but forgot to take pictures !!!! Onto next week for more fun and games !!!

A very drab wet week down at the The Ginger Cow Company but a very busy one all the same . Access was tight on this job so snuck in with the little digger and dumper to dig out for a 170m2 stable base. Dug out , gulley installed in the center, stoned up then concreted on Thursday where we managed just the 1 shower . All in all a good week thanks to Andy & Kat for all the brews !!!! On to next week !!!!

Here's a few more from some recent work at G.M. Stephenson Farm a new 27mx10m wash bay for keeping a shine on their tractors!!! Might even find some time to give the van a rinse off .

Another busy day yesterday concreting out a shed for a customers tank collection !!!! Boys from Breedon sending the gear again on time as always finished to.q smooth powerfloat finish to make a nice dust free floor .

Here a few of a pig shed we concreted out the day before Christmas!! Tight deadline but we got it squeezed in !! Finished to a smooth pan finish just to leave that little bit of grip for the pigs 🐖 .
