This is A&C and in just a few short weeks they will be celebrating their anniversary. They choose an intimate wedding here at the Mill, with the most insane food crafted by the bride's father, stunning florals from and of course the best celebrant led ceremony ever by .co.uk

July has been wonderful, and now August begins, and more glorious weddings unfold.

And yes, you can have a handfasting or hand tying here at the Mill with a Celebrant Ceremony.

Sundays are for relaxing and recharging.

Even the Larpool Mill Team need a day of.
And a busy wedding season is very much underway, so it is very much needed.

We have our own stock of decorations, lights, tables decorations, backdrops, easels and more.
All of which you can use on your big day at no extra charge.

We might be a DIY venue, but we know about the importance of looking great for any occasion.

Here at Larpool Mill we get some wonderful couples that choose to renew their wedding vows with us.

It can be five years after their wedding or fifty years down the road.

Our fully equipped and huge open plan kitchen is perfect for sharing breakfast on your big day with your family, or better still the morning after with just those staying over.

Shhh....a little secret for you..........the delicious butchers down the road do the most incredible breakfast sandwiches, which you can arrange to be delivered right to your door.

You can choose your own caterers to create the perfect menu options for your big day here at the Mill.
And this is a firm favourite for many of our couples.

All Packed Up!

Did you know our incredible team stay on site into the wee small hours to pack down all the venue.

So when you wake up the morning after, it's all perfectly placed for you to relax and enjoy being a married couple, without the clean-up.

Saturday night and the lights are on for today's couple.

Being an exclusive use venue mean that the whole place is yours, to share with your guests and families til long after the celebrations end.

The night is still young, and the dancing is only just getting started!

Dining Room Magic

It doesn't matter if you want fine dining with a private chef.
Or a grazing table laden with delicious food.

Our dining room can deliver the wow factor no matter the menu.

It's even licensed for legal marriages too, if you wanted to say we do in front of the fireplace.

Summertime

Yep believe it or not this is July.
The weather has been awful here on the cost today. But when the sun does shine its beautiful here. #
Did you know that most of our couples choose to say I do outside here at the Mill, and we have yet to actual rain during the ceremony.

It's also good luck to marry in the rain, or so they say.

There has been a clear switch from everyone talking about summer holidays. and now we hear Pumpkin Lattes and sweater weather.

And here at the Mill, the grounds are starting to turn their stunning autumnal colours.

We love this time of year.
It's packed with getting cosy, hunkering down and of course the odd scare too.

Is anyone feeling a little like it's time to start hunkering down ready for the change of seasons?

One thing we do well at Larpool is cosy.

From the log burners roaring on the ground floor.
To snuggly supersized beds with billowing duvets and woolly throws on the first floor.

We have everything you need to get that warm and fuzzy feeling as the nights start to draw in and the chill in the air appears.

But that doesn't mean we're not open...oh no we operate 365 days a year for your special occasion.

FLEXIBLE

As a DIY venue, we are able to tailor your needs to suit you.
There is no one size or package fits all here.

We don't even have brochures, that's how wild we like to be.

Each couple meets with our coordinators, to talk through their vision for their day and we go from there.

So if you're looking for a place you can make your own, that feels like a home from home, and doesn't have a list of ridiculous rules for you to adhere to then you're in the right place!

FIVE

We have five double ensuite rooms on-site at the Mill for you when you stay.

All our rooms are well equipped with everything you might need, as is the whole Mill.

That's potentially room for you, your groomsmen or bridesmaid, parents, siblings and friends. Or you could save the whole place to yourself!

Two nights are standard in our event bookings, so you can relax the night before your big day right here, in the comfort of Larpool Mill.
(This can be extended subject to availability).
We also have another property in Whitby should you need some extra accommodation.

FEET

You will be on yours all day, so think carefully about what you choose to wear.

Will you be changing to something for later in the day?
Maybe some flip-flops or dancing shoes will be needed?
Mention to your guests if they're going to be outdoors on the lawns for most of your day too.

We have seen wellies, trainers, glittery heels, rigger boots, fluffy slippers, ballet pumps, doc martins and all kinds of footwear.

We love when you choose something that's just right for you.

FESTOON

Weddings go long into the night and most of our events stop at midnight here at Larpool Mill.
Usually, by this time most of your guests are heading home.

But from after your wedding breakfast through to taxis home, the nights are a magical atmosphere of music, dancing, laughing, and making memories.
And you need to think about lights.

We have a small selection of festoon lighting you are welcome to use. But you might opt for strobes, candles, spinning disco balls or sparklers.

Are children or plus ones welcome?
Or are you sending out those invites to everyone you know?

Your family are there to share your love, be part of your wedding, and also play a huge role in who you are.

FASHION

Who says weddings have to be the same?

From dinner suits to trainers, anything goes.

You get to choose your wedding day dress code.

Just be sure to share it with your guests on their invitations so they can nail the outfit.
