After uploading this client's files I remembered I took one picture for my own keeping.

Shot through holes in a little Japanese Tower in Peasholm Park as I was moving from one location to another my inner monologue planted the seed of Peekaboo and then a VagrANT Edit to go against the grain and here we are...

Don't follow rules if you don't like them and nobody gets hurt.

Sometimes you want to give more than the Client wants.

Sometimes it's better to just deliver what they ask for.

I'm used to always giving more than I'm paid to do but that's underlying imposter syndrome.

This client turned down these Edits from our Shoot and requested Natural Edits.

In the time it took to edit one of these Images I was able to tweak the remaining Images she had selected for a more Natural feel saving me time in the process.

As a result I sent the client back part of their payment. Not only did the shoot fall short of time because the client was done shooting before we had enough takes of a couple of requested shots and I spent less time editing than I had planned I was reminded why knowing the client personally to vibe with and speak freely is worth its weight in gold for me.

Creating money from Art should always be Organic.
Synthetic monetisation of a craft is a one way ticket to disconnecting from why you love it so much.

Create what you love and love what you create.

Beyond this, it's subjective.

I have almost certainly got Borderline Personality Disorder.

Today is my daughters birthday so my alt personality is pushing through as I am emotionally triggered.

Human relationships are always complicated because humans constantly evolve. Dwelling on a need for a simple life or an easy life is a life without excitement and change. Putting the dependency on happiness in the hands of another human is a recipe for failure.

Humans were not designed to be with one person only in my opinion. Many many cultures pre-dating religion and marriage had thriving societies without the need for monogamy.

No one human can ever ever ever fulfill all of another humans needs. It's impossible to be dependent on this because even in our own mind our needs change so blaming others choices and behaviours and lack of action for not being happy without taking steps to end things and start again wiser is a song so so many sing without realising they can only set themselves free nobody will do this for them and it is never easy but always closer to happiness.

When children are involved accepting you can be happier apart is much more important than without kids because you are punishing the children with a toxic household and a poor standard of relations between the parents they witness as they grow.

Forgive and forget is not the answer.

Find Peace and accept, then heal.

Never expect yourself from others and only go back to talk about it when speaking positively about how you left it behind not just complain about being in the moment with no plans in place to change.

Your past shapes your present and guides your future but it does not define you. You derive yourself from your past and only you can decide how you take your experiences into each chapter of your life.
