Ex US car built December 1953 and has been the subject of a total nut and bolt restoration with 600 miles since.

Finished in Healey Blue with blue trim & blue weather equipment. Fitted wire wheels, overdrive, M Spec, louvered bonnet. Superb condition throughout.

Austin Healey 3000 Mk 1. Original UK RHD home market car which is a genuine duotone Healey blue over ivory white car. This car has been off the road for the last 48 years when we supplied it to the current owner. The vehicle has been fully stripped to a bare chassis and all suspension and engine bay components have been stripped and refurbished. The body and inner substructure have been restored and the engine has been rebuilt. Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances the owner is emigrating and the car is now offered for sale. It does come with a lot of new parts along with a nice history file and original works type hardtop.

This week in history - This hard-worked car appeared for sale, sporting a bonnet scoop and side vents, in an advert in Motor Sports of May 1962. The price tag was £375.

This week in history - The prototype Healey appeared in first brochure. This illustration continued to be used even though outdated by the revisions to the headlights and grille.
